    • @Poconojoeg
      @Poconojoeg Před 2 dny

      Both are great tires. The weight kept me away from the wild peaks.. they’re considerably heavier than the Toyo. (Wear breaks faster and worse fuel mileage)

    How’s the MPG ? Why buy this instead of a Duramax?

    • @Poconojoeg
      @Poconojoeg Před 2 dny

      I get 15mpg running around. 17 highway and 10 towing. I didn’t want to deal with def and the new emissions stuff. Also the gas has a way higher payload. If I were to get a duramax I would get a 3500.

    Hi Are you sure they're 3 ply sidewalls? I can't find that info anywhere. Everything I see says the Toyo ATIII is a 2 ply sidewall.

    • @Poconojoeg
      @Poconojoeg Před 2 dny

      They’re 3 peak rated 10 ply, e rated with a 2 ply + a heat dispersion material on the side wall. They’re not a traditional mud terrain 3-ply carcus like a hybrid tire would be or a mud terrain. I use them light off road with no issues. If you’re wheeling with a heavy duty truck I would go with a bfg heavy terrain or Toyo rt. Where these shine is low road noise, great wear, and snow performance.

    • @Poconojoeg

      Toyos are the best. The difference here in the northeast is that the snow freezes and thaws many times a day/week and creates a mess. These Toyos far exceed the stock tires.

    Need so.e clarification. I just called Bilstein about the front shocks and they told me that you must have a 1.5 inch lift/leveling kit in order to use on a 2024 gmc sierra 2500. They are even advertised as such on their website. Obviosly they worked on your 2024. Any thoughts or do you think tech rep at bilstein was just reading off the notes posted on website. It states " for 1.5 lift" unlike the rears that state " for trucks with 0-1.5 lift" . Thoughts?

    • @Poconojoeg

    Just picked up my '24 HD AT4 today. Thanks for your videos. Very helpful for sure. I'm of the same mindset that extended oil change intervals will not help your truck last. I only put about 6,500 miles a year on my trucks and change my oil at least every 6 months or 3-4k miles. I'd rather change it early than leave the oil in there too long. Anyway, thanks for sharing the tips and your experiences.

    I have a 2011 Silverado LT extended cab 4x4 that I bought new. At about 100k I installed the Bilstein 4600 at all four corners and afterwards wished that I had done it when it was new. We moved to the Ozarks and have a lot of curvy roads. Before the Bilsteins I had to slow way down for the curves where, after the swap, I tested some of them and could take them comfortably at 10 over. I don't do it normally but know that I'm good if one sneaks up on me. I recommend doing the swap as early as possible. Don't suffer the OEM like I did. They're not worth it.

    I agree with you on the Bosch. However, they have gotten to be SO expensive. For me (don't know about all brands of cars) I have my dealer replace them. I don't need to replace the whole wiper arm assembly. They just replace the inserts, leaving me with my original wiper arms, which to me keeps it looking factory. The cost is actually less than buying the Bosch wiper blades, and I don't have any labor involved. They've priced themselves out of business with me. Maybe this is a way for manufacturers to combat aftermarket wiper blades? IDK
