Ohio Damage Record?! 410k damage!!!
One of the hardest ships in the game to get is the Ohio worth it? Yes, it's very good. This is how you should play it. The ceiling on this ship is very very high and the better you are the better the ship gets. This is by far one of my favorite ships in the game. The only problem is t10 meta, it is just so unfun at the moment. With ships like this, it may get better.

Just wondering about your post IFHE nerf build for this ship - AFT, BFT, Manual obviously but what are your thoughts on whehter to go for firechance, concealment or superintendent? Do you use the same build/captain on Massachusets and Georgia?

I own and love the Ohio, its my favorite BB (i got most T10 BBs, only short montana, Techtree Yamato, bourgone and slava, neither has high priority)
I run it as a hybrid, secondaries+Tank, without manual secondaries
can't wait just got it but its dinner and bed for me. can you do a update for after deadeye leaves? vampire2 is me next
I have been trying to decide between this and the Slava - have the points. I love the Georgia, so I think I will grab Ohio (AKA Admiral_Gloval)

I’d recommend Ohio over Slava. I find it more consistently good. Slava is too specific.
I still cant decide slava or ohio , ı have monty ı like brawling but ı really like sniping too . Im just worry about the overpens and the armor of slava . Anyone have a idea ?
I note you do not have MFCSA specced. You don't need it? And in Mass/Georgia?
The US secondary premium BB secondaries are accurate enough that MFCSA isn't required like on the german secondaries. It is absolutely still an option, however, if you really want your secondaries to be as accurate as possible. But usually AFT is enough for a good hybrid build.

I has affected the accuracy of the secondary's :(. the full secondary builds are depressing to see
M highest base xp was in a Montana not long after i first got it and i cant get near it now 4152
its always gonna be better when they want to sell something orfrustrate someone into rebuying and reworked set of pixels
Thoughts a monty secondary build?
For me the monty is just a good ship across the board, good armor, guns, aa, speed, conceal, hp... i mean, the monty and yamato, wich you give everything for the guns, should be the ships you balance every BB in the game, each one with your unique perks but monty and yamy should be the weight. Monty is good at being good, monty doenst have good rudder shift nor turning circle, take ages to move, huge cit, and the dispersion and range of the secondaries are kinda trash. The worst problem is to use secondaries you have to be close, so you tend to have bows to shot and monty doesnt do shit against bows, he likes to move, its balance itself, ordinary af.
Monty secondaries suck don’t bother.

If you do it during doubles ,only 2 and a half. Normally, about 5 (assuming you still have the research bureau bonus from unlocking it)

Is it similar to Georgia in gameplay style?
Georgia is a 'hit and run' or flanking ship with 39.9kn with flag, Ohio is like a lovechild of kremlin and massachusets, sturdy with secondaries but only 28kn base
In the Georgia, you do drive-bys and vanish around a corner, in the Ohio you pull over, get out, and put brass-knuckles on.
It plays more like the Massachusetts, if it had the Georgia's guns and 1 more turret.
Got the Ohio a while ago, bu never really played it until now, and I find it a pain to get good games in it as of so far :-/
What build do you use for it ? .. Maybe I did set it up wrong? .. Despite of the 10.0... update

sadly the new captain rework has nerfed all secondary ships in the game pretty hard to the point that even going through the process of trying to find an opening and getting in close to use your secondaries yields very little rewards. With the removal of Deadeye I suggest just going for a full survival build and just play mid range
I have a question hope you can answer. are the five tech tree reset just to unlock the research bureau without giving you any research points? Or you can gain points when you first unlock them?

It's not that good anymore... pins do little damage. 24 pins for 19K against BBs and CCs, it happens every game of late.

A word of caution for you, though. You clearly stated about the 6:00 mark, that you killed the Soyuz 100% to 0%. The Soyuz in this game had a max of 88,100 HP, and you hit him for 72,687 damage. I love your content and your attitude and I will continue to watch your videos, but if you consistently state things that are false, you'll lose credibility. Good game, but I suggest you stop promoting Slava - it is a terrible ship. It does not worth the amount of resources required to get it!
