I had traditional locs for 16 years. 10 years of my daughter’s life I had them. I cut them off in the middle of the night and when I went to wake her up in the morning she was like who are you and where’s my mom? I was like it’s me! She was like what happened to your hair? I said I cut it! She had locs for 12 years of her life when she had begged for a year to cut them. I was loose natural for 4 1/2 years and she was loose for 1 1/2 years. We are now both microloc’d! I wanted sisterlocks but it wasn’t in my budget especially for 2 heads.
Thank you so much! I keep it simple, with only 2-3 ingredients. I fill a spray bottle with rose water, jojoba oil, and sometimes coconut oil. In the winter months, I may add tea tree essential oil into the mix.

It’s been 8months with my sisterlocs and it gets a lil frustrating because the edges keeps coming out when I wash not all of them but maybe 1 or 2.
