I was expecting McNally official to say, "You're using a lock. It can be opened using a lock" or lpl to say, "click from one, nothing on two, and it's open'
Being a teenager at the time, I opened my Dad's suitcase using this method. I had never done this before, total inexperience. It took me some 5 minutes to figure out how to proceed, and less than 2 minutes to feel the responses from the 3 rings. Piece of cake.
I did this with a master lock hand gun lock that we didn’t know the code to and I was blown away how easy it was to get the lock open. Im an amateur at the moment. Thanks for the help!
I had a bicycle chain that was not openable that way. Quite a few people tried, all failed. It was so extremely poorly made there was no way to distinguish a gate from the wheel catching on a burr, and even if you dialed the right number in, you had to jerk and wiggle it a good bit to open.
Just for grins, I took my TSA padlock (4 positions) over to a friend's house and he cracked it in seconds (which both of us can do) without ever having seen it. Lots of good grins! BTW, I could not open HIS padlocks, which are not TSA, but are small enough to use for baggage. Given more time, probably so, but I was in a hurry to get home that day (just on some house-sitting duties for my friends at the time). Also, as we well know, those TSA key-bypass secondary access locks are serious dookie.
I have a tsa007 which is unlocked, as in open, but i cannot lock it. I cannot press it down. How do i find out what the combination is please when i can't pull up on the lock as it is open? Thank you
kann das sein dass die neueren zahlenschlösser gegen diese ziehmethode geschützt sind? ich bring meins nämlich überhaupt nicht auf. Sobald ich ziehe kann man kein rad drehen
Most padlocks are frighteningly easy to pick or bypass. Disc detainer locks are much harder to pick because they require special tools and skills that most lock pickers don’t have. That said, 99+% of lock pickers never criminally pick a lock, the real threat is a criminal with a pair of bolt cutters or an angle grinder.
tsa locks were never meant to be secure, just a way to make it slightly slower to open if you don't have the code or a master key (like the tsa officers do). and in general most cheap combination locks are easy to decode like this without any tools and even most mid-tier combination locks can be easily decoded with the help of any thin piece of metal that can fit between the code wheels and the lock body
I was using that method to open bicycle chain locks 40 years ago.
How many?
hahahaha same😂😂😂

And to the casual observer, it just looks like someone having a little trouble with their crappy suitcase lock. :-/
I once found a number lock and I just brute forced the code, it was surprisingly quick

In my experience, this works with most locks of this type
or just pick the tsa key, lot easier😅
Thank you! You helped us unlock some old TSA locks today!😅
Best video ever! Opened straight away.
Nice, it really works 👍 Solved the forgotten padlock code 😁
Thanks for the tip, it worked!
Thank you! It was helpful
Thank you so so so so so much!!!! Trip saved!!

These locks are pretty worthless as the first half of your video indicated.
You have taught me how to steal someone’s luggage
I mean this as a joke
It takes at most three minutes to brute force the combination of a three wheel lock - one if it turns smoothly.
Thank you so much it worked 😂

Yes but it happened when the lock was open so I had to do it in reverse
tq for the video..i try it and its works
It's working thankyou bro
Welcome
Thanks, it worked

Thanks, idunno what i was doing i just keep the shackle pull hard and just scrolling until its open
I've often lost the combination, but never needed to know it. I just cut it off or throw it away. It's trash anyways.
I did that method a long ass time ago. It works like a charm
That worked, thanks 😂
You're using a TSA padlock. You can open it with a TSA padlock.
Thanks for this- was seriously about to brute force 100 combinations a day on my trip 😂 - found the combination in 3 minutes!
Fantastic!
You just saved me from spending another 15$ - got it unlocked in 10 minutes
I once started with 000-001- it did work but took me a while lol
Ima try this
what if it's open and i can't close it
This is happened to my padlock
It worked! 🎉
So padlocks are a scam?
Well normal Locks can be picked

Work for me !!
So, they are still secure If only the owner can open it(didn't say what the owner owns😂).
Works!
IT WORKS!!!!
This is hilarious, now every single one of these locks are effectively a paper weight.
Works on a bunch of combo locks. Good “clickbait” vid lockboob ;)
Just chirping you. Lol :) love the channel and vids.
It's work 👍
buy a new one or try hard to remember.
WHAT ???😮
Not working to me lo, I’m bad at this lol😂
Same I feel like the new ones are rigged for kee only.
Doesn’t work
Is this for any padlock?
Almost any pad lock. I find using a couple wrenches works a lot faster.
@@TheSolidSnakeOil Yes but that does destroy the lock
Nothing new
Eejit
It doesn’t work
You need the key same as I
