Thank you all for your comments! I'm just now seeing most of them. As far as a lesson or tab, I don't want to limit you guys to the way I played it. If you follow the melody of "How Great Thou Art" and add your own finesse, it will be great. You can add some cool slides or double stops. Make it your own. Just for a reference, I played it tuned to drop D.
Vince gills version of this is my favourite but as a guitar player that's a gorgeous tone you have there it is in my opinion the best version on CZcams well done
The tone from the g&l asat are some of the very best. I play one of the signature asat classics I got in 1991. Best guitar Ive ever owned hands down. And Ive owned several. Great playing on a great song. Tone is awesome. Great job. Post more.
Andrew Flowers it's been a while since I cut this, but I think it was mostly just a tweed Fender Blues Jr. I had some reverb, maybe a little delay, and I might have used a tad of compression, but I don't think I did.
