The best Crowd Silencing I’ve seen was about 15 years ago when LSU beat Kentucky on the final play. The Kentucky faithful we’re already crowding the sidelines ready to rush the field when LSU scored a 80yd TD. Imagine standing in that end zone ready to rush the field when the LSU scores right in front of you. Fans in the opposite end zone didn’t realize LSU scored…they rushed the field and tore down the goal posts, not knowing they’d lost.
Having been there, and being a UK fan who has seen a dozen different heartbreaking ways to blow the lead, I knew the early Gatorade bath cursed that game, and predicted LSU would score. I didn't predict three UK players tipping the ball ten yards to a receiver who was out of the play.
20 years later and Jeter’s throw to home to get Jeremy Giambi still upsets me because he was the slowest player on the team. Credit to Jeter for a great play but literally anyone else on the A’s would have been safe!
The most upsetting crowd silencer moment for me was Ray Allen hitting that corner three to tie the game in game 6 of the Finals against the spurs and eventually win the series. They were at home so it wasn't a "crowd silencer" but good gosh, I still feel the pain.
I’m with ya on that one because I could feel us winning that title but when Allen hit that shot I knew the series was over. The pain is still there all these years later
Eli vs. Patriots in Super Bow where he slipped a sure sackl. That was a huge crowd silencer and the most important play of the game! I was there and you could hear immediate silence with Pat fans. Thanks for the memories lol
Two of the worst moments I have ever been through as a sports fan were, rooting for the Maryland Terrapins and delivered by the Duke Blue Devils, I want to say each happened the year before we won the championship. During the regular season, I believe at Cole Field House, Maryland carried a 10 point lead with about 50 seconds left. A bunch of turnovers and Jay Williams 3s later, in only 30 seconds or so, Duke tied the game in regulation and rode the momentum through overtime to win. In the Final Four, the two best teams in the nation would meet again on the neutral court. Led by the likes of Steve Blake and Juan Dixon, Maryland jumped out to a huge lead, topping out at 22 with a good 14 minutes left. Duke chipped away at and took the lead with plenty of time to spare and ran away with the victory to go to another championship game.
It was 14 minutes left in the first half, but yeah, those moments definitely sting my mom who is a UMD alum, and it hurts me even thought I wasn’t alive when it happened
Beastquake would be in this video if it was an away game However it would be considerable less amazing if it wasn’t a home game due to the crowds amplitude of cheering
My personal pick is a UFC fight Cannonier vs. Hermansson. The Middleweight Main Event of night 160. Hermansson was the crowd favorite due to him defending his title and being labled as the "current" middleweight champ. Crowd cheered him when he was getting announced. Compared to when Cannonier was getting introduced, they booed him. Cut to second round, and Cannonier KOs Hermansson not even 30 seconds in. The crowd went DEAD. SILENT watching their little ol star fighter get his ass knocked down and pounded by Cannonier's fists; the sounds from his punches are absolutely brutal. I believe you can find the whole match on here, but it always gives me a good chuckle whenever I think about it. It's a good lesson about gloating.
a right fielder being able to muscle the ball back to the infield isn't an insane feat on its own, a lot of rfs are selected based on throwing arm, usually incredible throws from the corner are defined by both strength and accuracy (ichiro, bo) jeter hustled across the field to get a throw that missed, that absolutely was not his ball, but he realized that nobody was there to get it and hustled over there. He gets credit because it's aesthetically pleasing for 1 and he's Derek Jeter, media darling, for 2, but it's also a rare moment of spontaneity in a game where defense is often very routine. It helps that it was an elimination game and that run would have made a huge difference
TEAM JESUS 🙏🏼💪🏼🕊
Comment down below if your on his winning team! 👇🏼
Nope
I am!
Team jesus!
That’s gonna be a no for me dawg.
Yes sir

Blue Grass Miracle. Who could forget?? One of the best moments in sports history.
I never knew of it. Just watched the highlight. That's hysterical.
That sounds like some Oakland behavior.
Great game🔥🔥

3:39 pretty sure the crowd was silent before that home run 💀
Lmao there’s probably more employees than fans
ahhh the good ol days of braves baseball lmfaoo
I still don't understand why they got so upset, that he is playing the sport better than them? Lol.
Hahahah
Its *Baseball,* So Youre Correct
Wouldn't say the 3:39 play was a "crowd silencer." There's not even a crowd there lmao
How is a single home run one of the "craziest crowd silencing moments"?
it was 0-0 top of the nineth
@@TheOGGoblinGang most of them were mid game, and one was a single run homer in the 1st inning
Great game🔥🔥
???????
given the context 9:17 is one of the most savage moments in sports history imo
Name of the video: crowd silencer.
First clip: crowd erupts..
IMO I would take out all basketball clips just cuz the fans will always react from the play
20 years later and Jeter’s throw to home to get Jeremy Giambi still upsets me because he was the slowest player on the team. Credit to Jeter for a great play but literally anyone else on the A’s would have been safe!
He probably is safe, looks like he o-le'd him or however it's spelled
1:49 that dude is everywhere! Hes in several of these, different sports, different cities
what happened in 3:40? why were his opponents mad?
Basketball, baseball, football, best sports ever!
american moment
MJ's shot over Byron Russell in 1998 NBA Finals should be on the clips. It is one of the best crowd silencer in sports history
12:05 after Bonds hits that Bomb read the angel players lips "thats the furthest ball I've ever seen hit"
If only Bonds wasn’t a juicer.
Ok jomboy ;P
the celebrating too soon guys always cracks me up.
Yk for crowd silencing moments these crowds are pretty loud.
Posey and Crawford's grand slams to kill all noise in the parks are incredible
Got sad when I saw the Double Doink, but smiled again soon as I saw the Zach Lavine game winner

3:40 there wasn't really a crowd to silence
3:45 there's no crowd to silence lmao
Baseball fans seem pretty damn loyal.
19:40
That running back hit boost mode.
i love chubb
I was there for the Sixers-Thunder. One of the most entertaining regular season games I've ever been to, the ending was a bummer tho
This was great. Theres about a whole other video you can do on just hockey and soccer alone. Not to mention any NCAA event you wanna pick.

"Buster Posey" is the most baseball name ive ever heard.
Chất lượng, Sỹ Luân chắc thích bản Cover này lắm này! Chúc mừng em cùng toàn thể Ekip F. Studio
being a lions fan there's been countless moments where we've been screwed but also have had some luck as well :(
Now you need the best crowd explosions
4:06 catcher is the kid from sandlot
I spent a solid 10 minutes on the first clip watching peoples reactions in the crowd.
Came here to see Max Talbot silence the crowd in Philly. Saw 20 minutes of nonstop crowds not shutting up.
It's almost like the Astros knew what was coming
Get over it

I like it when the Seahawks beat the Lions on the road this past season
I was starting to get nervous. I was like you can't have this compilation without the Mile High Miracle. But alas, you saved the best for last lol
Been about 1000 crowd silencing last second goals in NHL history, none, soccer, none, "sports history" yet literally 3 sports were shown lmao
Astros doesnt really count when you knew what pitches were coming lmfao
"crowd silencer" *half the clips have loud crowds the whole time*
The Packers touchdown was the opposite of a crowd silencer since they were at home
The one on Detroit?
They were at Ford Field, located in Detroit, Michigan. Home to the Detroit Lions.
A lot of them are.
The Rodgers Hail Mary in this video was Lions stadium
Packers are everywhere man. It makes it feel like they where at home
Sports silence goes off in tennis. You should make a video on some of them
3:40 can it really be a crowd silencer if there’s not crowd to begin with😂😂😂
You should do missed game winners
The Gomez home run didn't have a crowd to silence 😂
banger as usual
12:01 they change the broadcast score before the ball ever came down. A true no doubter
Can't believe you didn't include Carlos Beltran striking out looking as the last out of the 2006 NLCS.
Title: Sports History
Video: Just the big american sports
Where did that Bonds HR ball end up anyway???
Still flying
@@rileywashere91 Woah.
In the doping test lab
Someone hates New England/Boston. 😂
Tennis Games
Player does anything
Crowd: *silence*
What's the context regarding the Carlos Gomez HR and trash talk?
Don't let the flip play against the Athletics distract you from the fact that Derek Jeter was by far the worst defensive shortstop of all time
You shoulda put Damir Kreilach’s 90+5 game winner for Real Salt Lake at Sporting KC to send RSL to the playoffs it was really cool
I better see Brandon Crawford’s grand slam vs the Pirates
1:57 ok maybe its a crowd silencer but the real crowd silencer is the score 😬
As a loyal Bears fan when Cody missed the field goal i cried
3:30 😩 we been through so much … WORLD SERIES CHAMPS baby 2021
Beastquake would be in this video if it was an away game

Good highlights, but Novak Djokovic should definitely be here a few times.
I don't get that whole Gomez thing. What was the other team so upset about? It just looked and sounded like he hit a homerun...
I dont like watching baseball but the highlights are dope
clickbait. The crowd is far from silent. good job
The crowd was so silent you could hear the trash cans in the Astros dugout
12:07 "that's the furthest ball i have ever seen"
I mean the Spurs/Raptors was pretty quiet already before the dunk lol
Do you know what a crowd silencer is?
when sports history is just the mlb, nfl and nba

11:30 cleanest cut i have ever see
Nfl division rivalry moments pls or any sport best rivalry moments
Not one hockey highlight smh
Carlos Gomez silenced the hell of that crowd of 19 people there
Howie Kendrick game 7 2019 World Series??
Crazy crowd silencing
And you show a home run with 6 fans in the top of the 1st.
There’s more players on the field than in the stands at that braves game how is that crowd silencing😂
6:36 was how Watson dodged all those charges too lmao
Lebron really be dunking on the smallest people and flexing....like congratulations you dunked on someone half your size 👏🏼
The James Harden one is nothing but a soul snatcher.
Seems you forgot hockey!
Having the Astro’s in this seems wrong
Not all Astros clips, just the Trashcan Era. The one from 2006 where Pujols rips their hearts out Kano-style definitely deserves to be here.
hands on head moment
3:39 Is the crowd really silenced when there are only 35 people in the stadium to begin with?
Why was it so hardly attended
@@crayolagangsta2000 I was there haha, just a really rainy week night.
Missed the best one. Derek Fishers shot against San Antonio
“THE LACES WERE IN, THEY WERE IN!!!!!!”
3:40 when you literally can’t have a loud crowd due to shortage of people
Very confused, not one silent crowd lol
10:57 he’s traveling
Awesome as usual
How does Jeter get the credit for the throw from deep right?
a right fielder being able to muscle the ball back to the infield isn't an insane feat on its own, a lot of rfs are selected based on throwing arm, usually incredible throws from the corner are defined by both strength and accuracy (ichiro, bo)
jeter hustled across the field to get a throw that missed, that absolutely was not his ball, but he realized that nobody was there to get it and hustled over there. What about the new Orleans saints onside kick after halftime in the superbowl
Michigan muffed punt because of the memes that came from it
11:03 is the greatest play in NBA history.
As a vikings fan 6:53 haunts me
I can't help but laugh at the Braves/ Brewers clip. Shouldn't there have to be a "crowd" to make a "Crowd Silencer Moment"? Lol
That Rodgers Hail Mary never should have happened, and I will go to my grave knowing the Lions got screwed out of that game.
Only three sports exist to this guy
We get it bro. You’re a SF Giants fan.
