Nove Mesto na Morave provided a belter of a 120km course which gave us some incredible racing across the board. All eyes are now on the next round in Finale Ligure Outdoor Region and we CANNOT wait to see how this season pans out! 🔥

The UCI Mountain Bike World Series unites all mountain bike’s major formats under a single brand for the first time. The new UCI Mountain Bike World Series includes the UCI Mountain Bike World Cup for cross-country Olympic (XCO), cross-country short track (XCC), cross-country marathon (XCM), downhill (DHI), enduro (EDR) and E-enduro (E-EDR).

I'd be curious to know what kind of equipment the leaders were running in the mens race. Seems like there were about a dozen racers all coming into the finish together. Did any of them flat or have mechanicals? What were the suspension/tire setups? Excellent coverage!

This was never live, the ones that are live are available on catchup pretty soon after they finish

XCM is actually what XC is all about which is Endurance MTB riding... No GBR athletes & No Live Coverage... Poor. But hoping it improves. Itll be good to know what equipment these riders use...

Why are the top guns of cape epic are not here? This is their game.
Where can I watch the full race? It’s not on GCN+
They didn't stream it, it's highlights only (at least for now, hopefully they can get footage like the cape epic does at some point)
Good highlights but now we have to pay for coverage, there should be full live broadcasts of XCM too.
Sheer scale of the course means that’s going to be rather difficult. Happy to see an extended highlights though if that was possible
@@petegowland6201 True. But Cape Epic (and most of the Epic series) manage to do a full course coverage. Granted, a lot of it is covered by e-bike, helicopter, and drone. But you can at least follow what's going on.
I look at wikipedia and there are results for winners of XCM world cup from 2005-2008.
What was that all about if this is the first one?
I suppose this will be the bike manufacturers' dream...another product niche...XC for marathons to add to downcountry etc.
This bike was really easy to assemble czcams.com/users/postUgkxMesz3KOGEmwmvyKQfLfrRSUXLFzfVHZA and required very few adjustments out of the box. The wheels did not require any truing/adjustments. The frame had some small scratches, but nothing major.I did replace the seat though - the seat it came with was very uncomfortable. The tires need to be re-inflated every 4-5 days, but this appears to be quite common for the narrow 700x25 tires.Overall, in my opinion, this bike looks and rides like a much more expensive bike.
