I don't know. I don't even look at it as being humble. I feel like he's just saying what your objective truth is. Some people pretend that they're better when if someone else would produce the same things they had and they compared it to other people's work, they would say it's worse doesn't mean it doesn't have any merit at all. It's simply better by the metrics they measure music with. I think for us are in the same thing here by his metrics timberland is better. Just honesty. I Guess it takes humility to be honest in this case but I think if he felt he was better he would say he was better

That's who got me wanting to produce. Aaliyah, Missy, Ginuwine, Tim and Magoo, Dr. Dolittle soundtrack, Tweet, Nicole Wray. They didn't sound like the rest of the industry and it's because of Timbaland. Tim rarely makes a beat where you think you might have heard it before. Neptunes on the other hand used the same exact drum kit and pattern for Mystikal, Busta, Ray J, etc. Even later when he produced Justin Timberlake he gave JT a whole new vibe.
