  • This is what flying on Emirates Boeing 777-300ER Economy looks like from New York to Dubai with a technical stop in Milan. From boarding process at JFK airport to onboard anatomies, seat review, free stuff and all the meals we ate.
    This is part 1 of our New York to Lahore Pakistan roundtrip flight with a technical stop in Milan and a layover in Dubai). Ticket costs was ~$900 per person for the roundtrip

    Wow, they take your picture as you board. Now that's a cool idea.

    Omg Ive been waiting to try Emirates!! Hopefully soon but as always such an amazing review and they seem to have great customer service which is always nice along with the extras that they include and for $900 48hrs before….thats an absolute steal! 👏🏾👏🏾

    $900/person......... WOW! That's a steal. The Emirates experience is in a league of its own. Those goodie bags are always nice. You'll make good use of them at home. I always appreciated that as a kid. I remember some airlines were more generous than others way back when (Virgin Atlantic for example). Emirates is the gold standard. One thing I enjoy - which I don't know if they still do it now - is provide you with a hot towelette either right after you board or before you arrive. That was great. Also, the food is amazing. You'll always get the better planes/food heading to Dubai and from Dubai back home. Sometimes you get the older aircraft from Dubai to your final destination (happened to me before going to India), but the service is well above average. Glad you explained the technical stops in here.

      Our original tickets on Etihad was $550 per person roundtrip from NY to Lahore Pakistan which we missed because of visa issue. They didn’t do hot towelette on our flight to and back. I think this was definitely an older interior of their 777-300 since their app shows a new color way and more updates seats. But we agree with you, we were quite impressed by Emirates. Already looking to book with them for another trip

    Recently flew Emirates 777 from Dubai to Newark with a stop in Athens, Greece. Athens was the technical stop for me. They do security if you have a stop in Athens or Milan because the flight is going to the USA. But no security if going towards Dubai. Emirates is the best airline in the world in my opinion❤

      We will be posting our experience in Athens Greece on the way back soon, and yes the flights back to US have the extra security at Athens which left us barely enough time to look around the airport terminal. And yes we loved our Emirates experience a lot

    My bucket list is to fly their a380. Which Milan Airport was it? Was there no lounge in there?

    • @KhizEesa
      @KhizEesa  Před 3 měsíci

      This was MXP and yes there are couple of lounges there. Since there was only two hours, we didn’t had time but the time we left the plane and explored the tiny terminal and before we could board again

    Hi, I am wondering about the Emirates carry on baggage rules! (also flying from NY to Milan). We are trying to do carry on instead of checking, and we cannot find anywhere how strict the airline is about carry on size. Do they measure the suitcase upon boarding? Is there a baggage cage you need to fit your items into? Do they weigh your items? I know there is a standard carry on baggage size, we just don't know how strict they are with it. Please let me know! Thanks!

      @KhizEesa  Před měsícem +1

      Hi, In our experience (flew twice last year), the airline airport staff do not check the exact size and weight of the carryon bag. As long as it generally meets the measurements online their website, you are good. The measurements ensures it fits in overhead bins. They do not have Measuring metal cage or bins at the boarding gate area neither they will stop you as long as you have two pieces in your hand (personal item and carry on). That is a US federal restriction and everyone at most airports follows it. So no baggage cage, and no weigh in at check in (ticketing counter and gate). Hope this helps and safe travels 😃💺🇮🇹

      @@KhizEesa thanks so much!! We couldn’t find this information anywhere! Do they care if we have a second item such as a purse? As long as it fits under the seat they should not care correct? Thank you!

    Did you pay for extra legroom?

      Excellent question. No, these seats are the cheapest Economy Seats on Emirates. We didn't pay for extra legroom
