I think the downside of begetter is that this class is not auto attack friendly (example: hell plant), that's why it is not popular anymore. Imagine if those skills can be used in auto attack, more player will definitely use this class
I think these buffs really aim on enticing new and old players to invest on their Begetters and also give Hela a shot too since Stellar Hunter was released, almost no one touched their Begetter for farming since they get outmatch by SHs. As for other PvE contents, Begetters really has a hard time catching up, and even LBs are on the low side of MVP Hunting since other jobs just does it so fast. I hope these buffs also make me give my begetter another chance since until now i still have no fucking clue how they work LMAO.
Life Link with the new Void Summon rune is free 50% damage reduction. Also, how strong is Bayeri? Also, if you'll focus on taunting the boss, it's better to just use blood sucking plant begetter skill as it's single target. I mean, Amistr/Bayeri has Blood lust which is also an AoE... which in the recent patch, no longer consumes Bayeri's max HP. A gentle reminder that Life Psychic adds 50% of your atk and 30% of your MATK added to Bayeri's/Anabel's ATK. So a good MATK depo is not wasted.
Finally they gave the Begetters the long awaited changes. I hope the nerfs will not make BGTRs worthless, again. This must be the reason why all Alchemist weapons from exchange suddenly go scarce,(especially Acid Touch). Too bad I parted from my +15 Acid Touch a long time ago. Not sure but I think War Axe will be more useful for the Homun build. I hope they make the Crazy Throw skill changed. We are sitting ducks after casting. Looking forward to the new changes.
I have my BG DPS build using CT skill. And it is great for WOE and WOC. tho it is too squishy but it can match other DPS jobs since the CT is able to cast under LP.
I honestly don't know why I have larvas, I have to look it up. Maybe it was some Begetter skill. I barely touched Begetter on my main account since it fell out of favour during farming.

Can homunculi inflict status? I know hell plants can inflict bleed and curse, using LOD will homunculi’s dmg increase? What about hellplant’s will it increase as well? Ore spirit card works? Sorry for so many questions. This update excites me.
Dude im level 81LK I would really love to be trained on how to get better idk about investing money into this game yet I wanna see how far I can make it F2P. Could you make a leveling guide how to get to 4th job fast?
Yes, I think so. I think unless you use elemental axes, you can't convert their attack, so if you're forced neutral, that is hard to deal damage against bosses. Even with 88% and 4.7K atk handbook, killing golem wasn't easy. Low depo benefit the most from elemental conversion and high skill modifiers (e.g. Lightbringer, Saitama, Doram).
@WobblyWallaby but the mechanics of Begetter are better than Genos...and it looks cute to have pets following you 🤣 at this point I'm up for fashion...can we have a Doram hero class that brings the Dorams Assistants as skills 🥹 I just want to play with an army of pets 😆 🤣 😂

Who needs to auto-attack when your homunculi can crit for you.

I agree it is great for existing Begetters who have abandoned it for other stuff.
this is a great adjustment for PVP as well.

use humonculus that auto provokes target for 1sec next time you try legend runs (aka 1sec version of DA's taunt)
That should be Amistr, which is what I use. It has taunt and I think it keeps the bosses busy.

Eleanor has Bleed, Dieter has Burn which won't trigger LoD but Ore Spirit instead.
So the added damage from LOD won’t transfer to the homunculi. LOD card won’t be good then. What about chaotic blade?
Hell plants do bleed. There's a card that does additional dmg to targets affected by bleed. Might be a good investment.
Since there's already farming class tier list, do you consider to make a PvE content tier list? (Regardless of MVP hunting)
Tier S - Saitama
Tier A - Nogu , Wataru
Tier B -LB , RM
Tier C - Rest of ROM
God genos is probably tier A aswell. For dungeons top is probably saitama/RM/nogu/genos
