Personally I prefer cards. At least on our server, snapping a +15 weapon is hard and self refining to 15 is all RNG. I have lost hundreds of millions refining with no results, whereas cards are more guaranteed in value.

I think "RNG" in this game is rigged to the rooftop. We already know how it works based on the recent Maple Story drama. Unfortunately, the player base in Rom is much smaller than in Maple Story, so one really cares to expose similar manipulations.

They milked any pseudowhales left by making them buy the entire 300 boxes, giving them sht in return, and just made up for it by giving the 200m-zeny-worth card. I say pseudo because the real whales have left already long ago. It was marked by the decrease of channels. It was around then, add or take a year. These legit whales literally "invest" to the game while having the luxury to play it their way. It didn't work well so they had to go. See the 4th enchantment vouchers and 3rd enchantment reset now? You'll be surprised to know they are actually available years prior to the legit whales and just being given away like how they give away gift boxes and codes. You can spend your whole damn fortune for enchants and get gd nothing.

I say pseudo because the legit whales have left the game long ago. It was around when the channels decreased, give or take a year. These whales were literally invested to the game while having the luxury to play it the way they like. The game earnings didn't go well as expected so they left. You'll be more surprised to know that the +15 refine vouchers, 4th enchant vouchers, and the ability to reset 3rd enchants were already available years prior to these whales. I have known legit whales in game, and believe me, their enchants couldn't be more perfect. The devs handed it the way how they give gift packs and codes. It was that easy for them. Recently they made the whole thing available to the public, with limitations, of course. You can spend your whole gd fortune in refining, and enchanting and get no results.

Most of the players are either super naive or coping with criticism with good old "if you don't like it just quit", as we have not invested hundreds of hours, money, and feelings. And we don't have a right to point out things that are practically the last nails in the coffin. Because it's whining or crying. In the last year, I have met quite a few noobs by helping them start, not even one of them is still in a game. They quit after a month or even sooner. Even the fact that super op classes that break pve are not available to them is super off-putting. Catching up is impossible, even with a giant investment with real money. For me, the worst offender is the rune system. Devs make new hero classes only to sell rune boxes. This system is impossible. They say to play many classes, but with this system? And ever-growing pool of classes we draw from? Getting runes for Saitama is for new player like a slap in the face.

That is fine, with a SSR weapon and higher total power, you can still clear this.

Set your expectations real and never compare your progress to veteran acct that spend literally years to achieve it. When it comes to to PvP content use a utility build/job.

Best advice to a new player of rom would be - drop this game immediately. It's one of the most predatory, p2w unfair games that ever existed. If you think about pvp prepare to spend thousands of dollars.

I personally use a +10 on this account and a +12 on main. I think it's tier 5 effect is needed for this class, so it really is the best in slot. A +10 should be easy to get. But this class is so strong that even using a +15 Thanatos sword is fine.

Yes. I think high HP and heal would be nice. But for PvE I am still not sure if that is enough to give her a spot in a party.

no, i think you read it wrong, the core 7/7 got buffed with +50% hit and an additional meteor but with 1 second interval, and the normal ones are still at an interval of 0.5 seconds, so it got an additional meteor at an slower interval
