- Installing Wolfsburg West square weave carpet, like the factory did. In a limited edition 1974 Sunbug.
Making a new package tray from Masonite. Using a steamer to mould carpet like the original.

This is probably the most detailed video I have seen i like the way you fitted the new carpet over the original panels. I m working on my 74 super and I m so gladd you made this video. Now I can go ahead and get my carpet done ...i got mine from sawfine and its a bit pricey so I do not want to mess it up.

Thanks for taking the time to make a great video. If I could ask, where did you find that insulation pad that is installed under the seat where the center seat belts bolt in?
That insulation pad is the original one. It is very brittle but I was able to carefully remove it. Thanks for watching. Please subscribe if you haven’t already
How do you remove the base of the rear seat (the piece the cushion sits on)
