can someone explain why the move to capital is a promotion? I thought radio one was bigger
Getting his own breakfast show on a national radio station is the promotion, rather than the station itself. Breakfast shows typically have the biggest audience by far, and typically the host has a long tenure. He wouldn’t have ever realistically got that at Radio 1 because Greg James’ breakfast show will likely run for a long time.

At least Jordan will not have to have his salary published every year now he works for Capital. His salary will have shot up a lot with the move, but no one needs to see it now he doesn't work for the BBC.
The real question is why did MistaJam leave!? That man has some serious beef with Radio1.
I really like Jordan, he seems like a really nice guy, but he will never ever be in the same league as Greg James.
