We had friends in Mexico who had a ‘52 or ‘53 Chevy which they drove from the ‘50s through the ‘70s or longer. They called it “el camote.”
My grandfather had one! We called it the grey goose! Had that car for years! Just like I remembered! Wow!

First car I ever owned was a 1950 fleet line. I paid 20 for it. $20 dollars that is in 1964 when I was 14! It was a little rough and no title. Drove it around the farm

my first was a 49 . I paid 35 $ in 1964 with title . I put on dual carb kit and split exhaust manifold . had it painted baby blue ....loved that car !

i've always been a chevy guy like my dad. my first was a 1954 club coupe that i bought in 1966 for $50 bucks. i have a 2015 silverado wt now.

The barebones price on these cars brand new was $1,300 my God have prices increased it's ridiculous only rich people can own these vehicles nowadays what a shame! You will not see any new vehicles last 56 years today all the new vehicles today are junk they're overpriced and they will not be around unless they're been in garage their whole life!

nice 50s.. but I never buy without driving and inspecting every nook and cranny. These days the way classic car market pricing only an idiot buys without taking the steps. WE ain't in the 70s when I bought cars for 300 bucks

@@richardwhite9577 bro let me straighten you out 8m 60yrs been in the game alot longer than you im sure I owned a 51 Fleetline 2dr deluxe since 1985 cruised it for 3yrs then flipped it out did Lowrider Magazine Tour full custom call from 2000 to 2009 and today I have a 40 business coupe and a 39 Cadillac LaSalle touring sedan no need to be Jealous of anyone or anything done it all

If these cars were two doors it would be worth it. Four door not so much. The demand for four doors is just not commanding those kind of prices. Of course there’s always a sucker born every minute.
