- I love this depiction of Zeus and Hera. Not because they're good or healthy. Zeus doesn't know how to keep it in his pants and Hera is possessive. Their relationship is flawed, complicated, toxic and dangerous. But their love story has been iconic for thousands of years and I feel like I have to appreciate this take of the Greek pantheon. Zeus is unfaithful but kind. Hera is righteous and powerful but driven mad with jealousy and hurt and anger. They're both right and wrong. But they do love each other, to the very bitter end.

Both are at fault here but to be honest Hera has more reason to be angry. Not that inside with her actions but I understand we’re she’s coming from. Shes tired of Zeus constantly embarrassing and hurting her and is just standing up for herself. @@pokimanefartcompilation its just the patriarcal thing of ancient greek, just like all the "a man is strong and a woman is weak" thing but this show is more "modern world" not afraid of showing powerful women, you can litteraly see how powerful, cunning and strong Hera Queen of the heavens is, even Zeus had stuggle with her.
Nyx is a primordial so no point of comparing to her.
Hera is the most powerful goddess if we dont include the primordials.

Does Hera being "the god of marriage" ring any bells to you? She can't just simply divorce, that would go against of what she's suppose to stand for as a god.
And in case you're gonna ask why she married zeus then. It's because she got tricked by him into it (and raped) in mythology.

I am on Hera’s side. I know she made a lot of evil stuff and shouldn’t blame the woman or their children for what her shitty husband did but if I had to choose her side or Zeus’s side it would be hers.
I am on Zeus his side. First of all I see your point. Broken heart, yada yada. Zeus was not perfect nor a father figure or husband material for some. But he has a heart as well and he is a proud man, But for me it doesn't feel right to support Hera to go in war against Zeus, because it will make things much worse. That the hate grew within the Olympians was Zeus his fault he even openly admit it and some turned against him when he admit and yet it continue to go worse with Hera her view on things but the thing that is happening to everyone else Gods/Humans alike was injustice, evil. This part is were Zeus tried his best to do a right thing for all. The thing why I dislike Hera was because of her actions mainly only good people involving had to suffer or worse. at the very end of the series I was glad to see that Zeus had no hate feelings towards Hera. It made him true to what he was and still is.
@@TheSnelloper hera only goes after Zeus's lover's and bastards because she literally physically can't try to kill him this is all in the original mythology so because she has no way of venting her rage she takes it out on them but if you look at how Zeus and hera actually became a couple it gets worse zeus literally raped hera and only got her to marry him because she was ashamed and she can't divorce him because she is the goddess of marriage and bonds it would literally go against her very being not to mention zeus has practically stuck his dick in every hole you can think whether it be woman,beast or tree but if a man so much as looks at hera with a slightest bit of desire zeus is ready to make heads roll
@@mellocream1794 It was a hate and love relationship, not just only hate. She loved him once. But I believe in change. Hera and Zeus both done both bad stuff. Zeus wanted that to change. While Hera sought to end Zeus and all he loves. I know it would make Hera feel more better about herself if Zeus died,(maybe for more people) but I don't think it would be the solution for the whole problem. Beside bad stuffs both have done, they both done many great/good things as well. And what I truly believe is that Zeus is not bad. He want to be good. In the end Hera still loves Zeus, I think that she wanted to kill him was a big mistake she realize it probably by now.
@@TheSnelloper I'm happy that Zeus was able to acknowledge his mistakes and wants to do good. But the problem is that he acknowledged it far too late. He pushed and pulled on Hera's love and loyalty for far too long and by the time he wants to do right, there was too much damage. He committed the ultimate betrayal by falling in love with another woman and chose to keep her and their child alive. Hera couldn't take it anymore and unleashed a terrible wrath that frightens the Heavens and Earth. Zeus never truly comprehended how long-suffering his wife had been before it was too late.

Hera caused a lot of unnecessary destruction in her war against Zeus, but can you blame her? He cheats on her, humiliates her, and leaves behind a string of demigod children as proof of this. 😮💨 Honestly, I don't think Zeus deserves to die, but he should give her the dignity of a clean breakup. She deserves to find her own happiness AWAY from him. Hera is the goddess of marriage, but maybe she can be the goddess of divorce too. She can be a godly representative that not all marriages have to work out. 🤔

This video and the song really hit Me hard in the feels. I really hated on how Zeus was unfaithful to his Wife as Hera felt betrayed yet heartbroken. Tbh, I feel like she has every right to be mad at her Husband but both of them were indeed in the wrong. Even though I hate both of them with a passion and I despise their relationship, sometimes I can't help but feel bad for the both of them since they suffered a lot of Daddy Issues from their Father ever since Cronus feared of a prophecy that one day his own children will overthrown him.

History confuses Hera with Demeter. Demeter is the one who did stupid and bad things, but history as modified by evil reptiles blames Demeter's bad deeds on Hera. Hera and Zeus loved and respected each other. Not so between Poseidon and Ceres...
