Fern, my white Boxer dog, is an accredited service dog under the 1992 DD act. She holds special access rights to be allowed to enter places most dogs cannot. This includes National Parks such as Chiltern Mt Piolet NP where Reedy Creek is located. Unless your dog is an accredited service animal they are not allowed to enter NP.

Your set up and discussion captured my attention, thank you. Your supply pan contains too much gold to be initial processing, but you're demonstrating the process, so I get that. It also has the clay (mud) removed, so we can see the gold as it settles in your tray, and I get that as well. You're a good teacher because you are willing to do the preparation prior to the filming plus you have enthusiasm for the work. Thanks for posting.

Just ran some of the most wicked dirt that the blue bowl wouldn't even touch at full chooch... Had to hand pan it...

You need a squeeze bottle for rinsing or your mats out. Like a chemical/ medical type bottle.

I spend a considerable amount of time watching those other gold prospecting videos you mentioned and would like to point out that your personality and energy, as well as your Aussie accent and Gadsey (sp), all combine to make your work the first I choose when there are choices. It would be a shame if you lost the will to continue your work and I commend you for your efforts.

I'm now on a ramble but i tried to make it useful for all.
Im back to testing my equipment to the point that its blowing gold,to help refine the capture process.(think human centipede with all the dream mats) Aslong as i can't see gold rolling off, im easy tbf.
But its very interesting cleaning the bottom sluice and watching how much heavy iron and hematite migrate down. As expected Gold does start to show up when the cells stop exchanging on the second mat,as noted by yourself in previous videos.I Keep adding and deleting bits now, so till the next tired ramble.

Chris, that is an amazing amount of gold from your rocker box! Like you, was it just an incredible day on the creek by luckily finding a heavily laden spot of gold, or was it because you used a rocker box instead of a sluice? That would be a great theory to test. The only problem is that you can't test this at the river. You would have to get a specific amount of potential concentrates. Weigh it and process it in a clean area at home using both rocker box and then sluice. The exact same material ran through both; collected, dried and weighed, would do that. It would be a long process, but I wonder if the rocker box does better at capturing the gold? Just an idea.

Quick tip: When you are getting started shut the pump off for a second and start it up, it gets rid of air bubbles✌️✌️✌️

So I watched the guy that built the dream mat brand, he said that's the way you do it so you do not contaminate the mat with oils, and rid it of bubbles. but honestly the best mat I have for clean up is a high low v mat made of 100 silicon. @@VoGusProspecting

You should consider making a centrifuge. After what I can read, it only has to spin at 400RPM to separate the tiniest pieces of gold. I think an experiment with an old cement mixer where the inside is lined with old tire rims could be very interesting.

Yo man! I have the “adventure sluice” which is basically the same as u got (dream mat) and I tested it, it does miss a fair amount of the flour gold. That’s all we got here where I am so I now run a homemade v mat sluice that empties out into my adventure sluice. The v mat hasn’t missed anything that was caught in the dream mat as of yet. The dream mat is probably dreamy with bigger gold but not the super fine. They are a pain to clean compared to v mat asswell
Look, I agree to a point. My experience with v mat is very positive. The difference for me is the power of dream Mat to do stripping, it's faster to run it twice than once slowly through v mat.
It might be the tin though 🤔
@@VoGusProspecting yeah idk what I’ve got, I’m in Michigan USA and have tons of black sand, like I have spots I can shovel buckets of just pure black sand, I think the dream mat with just the micro mat would work better for me in my area but that’s untested. The v mat is slower tho. If I was in an area like u that has plenty of gold I wouldn’t care either but those three missed specks may be all that’s in my dirt! 😂

Have you considered putting a hose on your crusher and then panning out what collects in the riffles of the hose to see if any super fine gold is blowing out

Chis , I have a question for you have you ever sluiced or panned Fine gold in Salt water would it be harder as Salt water is more dense i have found a large deposit of Black sand and it is near salt water just thinking of Flour Gold Wizard but he is useing fresh water from lake superior. I will be trying this later next year when things cool down a bit. We have a sluice, Pans and a spiral panner.May have to take in a supply of fresh water mabe or just bring out the black sand and do it at home

What happened to the furry catapillers on ya head? Personally, I like to use a small brush ( instead of my fingers) to clean the air bubbles off the sluice. Bloody fine stuff ( gold and content) ❤it 😊

I have the same clean up sluice and find the fine gold sticks to the silicon and will not come off. Did you have the same issue? If so what was your solution?

You are using fake real gold in a real fake pan, and the positively charged negative particals are having too strong of an attractive repelling effect, and this can make your water get too dry and causing your gold to stick when it slides!!
