SinoTrack ST-901 has built-in battery inside for back up (GPS tracker can still work for few hours if disconnected from the power source). It has main power off alarm (main power off alarm means sending SMS alarm when GPS tracker is disconnected from the car battery, very useful if the thief try to disconnect GPS tracker and steal the car). The device consume a minimal power, hence, can be connected directly onto the battery for 24/7 surveillance. It is also equipped with sim card slot, hence, can locate device via SMS.

what is the apn of smart?
I could not use device ( Sino track 4G ST-915L) i don't even know how to use it very hard to understand on user manual , i use micro sim 4G, yellow light and blue light was solid, follow 4.1 on user manual but nothing to received a google maps link or sent message 6690000 and message delivered and that's all nothing else. I have tried to use Sino- track Pro app but could not login ( 10 numbers device ID and password is 123456) but couldn't login tried to visit but couldn't find device ID number on app, very disappointed hope you can help, thanks.

Working po yan di lang nagrereply same sakin, nasa network po problem, binablock nila yung message lalo na sa pag set ng apn at ng ip & port.

Hello hanggang dun lang ako umaabot sa isesend yung apn name ng sim provider. Pag ireregister na sa server hindi na nag rereply ng set ok

When you get the sim it comes with a phone number. You call that number and the tracker will sms u back

I’ve recently bought this tracker im trying to connect it to my Kia optima 2019 but I’m trying to see if it’s suppose to be connected to the fuse box or under the hood for it to work
You can join it to other wires sir, all wires passed through fuses actually. So you can directly tap them to your supply wires beneath the dashboard. Mine, is taken from the obd supply.
Fuse tap. You just need to trace by multimeter which fuse is acc and vcc then connect by fuse tap

i just brought this tracker, the pic in the manual show it should connect red wire to +24V, black wire to +12V, however my car battery is 12Volt. Is that working for me to connect it to +12V & Ground?
Hi sir, exactly the same unit? The voltage supply for this unit is ranged 9V to 50V, so it's okay to supply voltage within the range.

you need to hook it to any power wire that only has 12v when key is turned on,you can get a test light from dollar store ot $5 multi meter.the wire that goes to "on" on your ignition switch/your radio/many fuses and relays

So if you know the sim phone number, ANYONE can know the loaction of the vehicle??? Seems to be a major security issue!
In my case, only me and my family knew the phone number which is very important in case of emergency.

No sir, the sim card is for gsm only. It is intended to make calls and the unit will send location as an sms.
The gps on the other hand is built in in the unit. And you need mobile data to access their website or app.

can someone answer this for me? after i install a sim card thats been activated should i be able to see the tracking device location on the sinotrack tracker app or do i need to send some type of command to set it up first?right now it says "offline" in the app and im thinking its sim card issue,right now i have steady blue light and flashing orange.

Granting that Gps connections are properly installed, Off line means the ACC is not ON. Try to switch ON the ACC. Also be sure you have a strong internet signal..

Hi sir, if you want the tracker to keep on energized 24/7, then, don't connect it to acc for it to have a continuous supply.
If you happen to connect it to ACC, it will only turn on once you switch the ignition key to acc or on position.
I connected mine to motocycles plate light.. it only turns on when I turn on Acc. If I connect it to the battery will it drain my battery?

Before you place the sim card in the tracker sir, you have to insert it to your phone to allow to send an sms. Please follow instruction in the manual. Ty

@@EngrDeeIWye i cant get ahold of sinotrack maybe you can help me,after activating the speedtalk sin card i send a text to the gps number the sim card provided but no matter what i send i never get a response text back? the blue light is solid and orange light flashes,im new to gps so im hoping maybe i need to send the right command to get it all started?
