After seeing them for the 2nd time in the past year last night, this band are an absolute freak of nature. It doesn't matter which album they've made, there's always at the least a few top top songs. This lastest album Yummy is unbelievable. It's as good as anything as anything they've done. Over 40 years & they're getting better with age.

Fantastic interview, fantastic band, fan tastic. This band is totally addictive for us. When Laid came out my wife and I used to dance to it in our living room, you can feel the warmth in the songs. The Glastonbury 2024 show was absolutely awesome, keep on playing it The ladies have added something for sure especially live They give me goosebumps all the time. all albums have been very good
Queen is one of my favorite bands and James , although different , is also one of my favorites . both bands have a unique connection with their audience and appreciate where they have come from and where they are going .
Dude. Why is the deluxe version only on CD ?? I LOVE the second disc but the FIRST disc is just pure MEH its boring!!! How can BONUS tracks completely DWARF the “main” content ???!! Im genuinely baffled man!???
@@DeeTeaDee Hey Dude, enjoy disc 2...it is much more extravagant. Do not forget listening to "Wah Wah" or "B-Sides Ultra" tonight before going to bed. I am sure you will sleep well after that 👆
I so wish I had discovered this podcast before attending Aberdeen.. now the songs mean so much more... it is a fantastic album, it took me a few listens but I am there... life is certainly Better with you.....
I listened to each track from "Yummy" in the background as they discussed it - thoroughly enhanced the viewing/listening of this video - highly recommend it!!! Can't wait until Vancouver Sept 20 and hoping to get to Seattle on the 21st!
Ok get on this I have this CD in my car right And tonight in work Im listening to it on Spotify (or what I THOUGHT was it) Im listening and not feeling it at all and Im puzzled because im LOVING it in the car!!! So I’ve been listening to disc TWO of the deluxe version and spotify only has disc ONE !!! That now being sorted…I have to say boys. Disc one is REALLY weak and pretty lame im sorry to say!! But I LOVE disc two!!! Ive never known an entire DISC to qualify for a deluxe release before!??? Its MUCH better than what is on spotify!! GET DISC 2 on STREAMING MAN!!!

Like the album.great material a bit overproduced. Instead of Dave’s fantastic drums, we get fakey drum machine noises that are just kind of there on some tracks. At least Dave is still there live.
