When Bakim reveal his true intention, that is one of the biggest plot twist at entire metal saga. And that absorbing power system is kinda foreshadowing Maya Ruins and Proto Nemesis arc.

As a huge metal saga fan who was able to find this movie on CZcams, I enjoyed every second of this and am glad it’s getting more attention nowadays. Really wish it got an English dub like the show did.

Understandable because the movie was never dubbed and the events of the movie itself is kinda hard to be placed within S2. Soo it's canon is hard to point when does it take place. Like obviously it's S2, but between episode what and what does it fit with the tv series is the question.
There's 2 if you count Beyblade Fierce Battle, but nobody cares about plastic gen so it's overshadowed by this one :/

This video made me feel horrible for battling with my Black Sun Sol Blaze. RIP paint job and being a kid at the time. I really thought it was going to be easy to replace but oh well. Atleast Mifakes exist now to have one to battle with beyond the damage my Sol Blaze has
I really hope we'll be able to see Beyblade X adapt some things from Beyblade history like Sol Blaze since Sol Blaze and it's movie is something I loved watching while growing up despite not fully knowing what was happening in the movie itself
Would love to hear your review on the first Beyblade Movie, Beyblade the Movie Takao vs Daichi. I actually enjoyed that movie although the movie has some issues with the rest of the characters and Kai didn't have much screentime in the movie which is one of my main issues and there's also some anime errors on Tyson's Launcher.
Helios' cameo in Zero G is very likely just fan service very similar in fact to the other cameos in the final episode like Kyoya's brother from the manga, Kakeru showing up

Ok from what I know the movie takes place after the team wanjushong arc when team Japan wins, from the part when kyoya appears it was him trying to form team wild fang so yeah it is canon to the series, again this is what I know if you compare the anime timeline with the movie, and during the finale of shogun steel he was with the russian team to study more about the sun, and Atlantis.

Yeah that's really the only time where the movie can fit because otherwise it cannot fit at any others parts of S2 because it's the world championships, meaning our characters are constantly moving between countries outside Japan. And the time when they do occasionally return to Japan it was the battle between Japan & Africa, soo not the time for this movie to happen.
@@ernestorio3550 and it can’t happen after masters cause of this line from madoka “this bey just took so much damage in the fight with hades” meaning ginga wasn’t able to battle meaning that this has to happen in between episodes 3-4 of masters but considering Japan was one of the last teams to form (if I recall) in the world championships and the world championships were being prepared in ep 1 that could give us at least a few weeks which sol blaze takes place in a few days meaning this has to be where it fits on the timeline

Assuming that the movie takes place before the Japan representative tournament, Masamune wouldn’t be around, given that he was introduced during the Japan Representative tournament.

I had Sol Blaze in school
And then I lost it one day
And I vaguely remembered seeing a clip with his blader but I didn't find it when I rewatched the metal generation so I was sure it was a dream or something.
Until a few years ago I saw someone mention the movie and I was like "ohhhhh that's what it was"
Metal Fight was so over the top and I absolutely adored it!
Honestly I thought was plastic gen was more, in the first season the enemy and his bey are so strong that they surpass time and space, and create a dimension separate from it, Takao then proceeds to destroy that dimension.
Season 3 had Brooklyn who created black holes, had an aura that cuts through people and then decides to straight up recreate reality in what he believes is the right version.

Burst was good as well and I appreciate them bringing back metal beys with x but the designs aren't doing it for me

Helios gives me Tempest Shadow vibes, I watched the MLP and Beyblade movie and i liked both of them
Funnily enough I didn't even know about the existence of this movie, but back around somewhere in 2018-19 as I was getting back into beyblade, I was looking into some of the MF beys I had originally missed out on for my collection, & I was able to get an orginal eclipse version from a Japanese collector who was getting rid of his collection
I only knew at the time that it was a limited run bey, but didn't know it was a movie tie in ..I probably shouldn't have taken it out of the packaging lol But with the amount of fakes readily available, I don't even know if it has mantained any value
Call it nitpicking, but it will ALWAYS annoy me that the dub changed the name of Ginga Hagane, whose name quite literally translates to “Steel Galaxy” to “Gingka” which means NOTHING and just sounds dumb

The over-the-top factor is what I think makes Metal Fight Beyblade unique compared to Burst and eventually X just adding elements of realism to the game.
For those asking where Ryuga is, in the Manga he faced Helios and the result was a draw. Also, unlike the Anime, Lightning L-Drago evolved into the Meteo L-Drago form while fighting Helios in the Manga. Also, as we see in the last scene of the Shogun Steel series, Helios is mentioned as a canon character in the anime series. The movie is completely canon.
Had Sol Blaze been given a western release, what could it's localized name be? Since, Burn Phoenix was renamed to Burn Fireblaze in the west.

We all loved Helios and Sol Blaze, this bey was a treasure, and is now very expensive (the authentic one), btw Masamune is really a loser to you? I mean he’s clingy and overconfident but still played a huge rule in the series

Jake this is all basic MFB action. we're still use to the more reserved Burst and X levels of action. I expect all this crazy stuff from MFB
For real. I appreciate that Burst and Bey X animes are trying the more relatable route by having the beys needing stadiums to function and that they don't spin indefinitely. But it makes us forget that in MFB anime, anything can happen. Beys shooting tornados, shattering mountains, hell even summoning shockwaves is just a tuesday to them lol

@@orion_starchaser Have you seen Beyblade X? It's boring compared to other season 1s of other Beyblade series, even in under 10 episodes. I checked out of X after 13 episodes. We had more diversity in battle results, techniques, the hype, engaging writing, cooler character designs, and better animations. With the ending of X manga, Season 1 of X is the weakest. They need to step up in Season 2
@@vento5558 yeah I get what you mean. But I think they were going for a more realistic vibe with X rather than the fantasy of previous gens, which some people seem to not like. Personally I like it, but I do wish the characters had more development than they're currently getting. I'm sure season 2 will be better though.

Masamune is a ride or die if he's your friend he'll go to amazing lengths to help you out. Then there's also the fact that he's literally also the strongest non-legendary blader by the End of Metal Fury. Also has some of the best battles and an epic theme. He may lose but he never gives up in the end and keeps on pushing through. He may not be #1 but he's still a good blader and a loveable goober at the end of the day.

A fake beyblade that is REALLY accurate to TT. They are also safer that garbage fakes too. Pretty much 99% of new in-box MFB beys on eBay are midfakes.
In the manga, Sol Blaze tied with Ryuga L-drago (before it evolved to Mateo L-drago)....so scaling wise

Helios was a weak antagonist, and his character backstory and development felt overly rushed. The movie being too short ruined his character... his still very likable, but he could be way better than he actually is in the movie.
He is so damn generic aswell, his design showed more like a character with a personality like Killua (HxH), but still with the antagonist role like Nagito (Sdra2), but what we get is just a antagonized Shu (that is also a shitty character), so yeah, he could've been coller AND more carismatic. If at least his motive made sense, we could fell sympathy for him, and understand his generic personality, but the movie doesnt do at least that to make Helios understandable.
You had me until Shu. Shu is absolutely not a bad character, he’s the best written character in the first few seasons of burst and his character arc coming full circle in sparking was the best part of the show.
Also Helios was brainwashed into believing they could restart their doomed civilization with the power of sol blaze and Pegasus. Meanwhile that wasn’t the true goal all along.
