A black man, aged 52 now and a lover of soul and pop.... But in the 70s these guys were dominant, along with T-Rex, David Cassidy, David Essex and so many others they made my childhood soooo memorable... And l still love this track. My favourite by them.

In 1975 I was a spanish boy spending my summer holidays in Tramore, Ireland and this song was the song of my first love. She was a beautiful irish girl. I always will remember that summer!!

1972-76 I was between 12 and 16 years old and BCR were seen as something of a "girls" band. Looking back, I can now say I liked their music although as a boy you could never admit that for fear of ridicule. The songs were good catchy songs from a tight band. Shame what happened afterwards but what I do know is that their music helped define my childhood. I wish I could have those days again.

@@desmondhull5778 I got to see the rollers I want to say when pat was in the band , I still have my ticket sub with the date one of these days I'm going to go through what I have , I also met les at an autograph party in Hollywood California, and in December 77 got to see them at a radio station we ( 4 ) of us got invited to meet them but some thing bad happened a fan got hit by a car and broke her leg ,and the very last time I got to see them was at magic mountain, so all and all it was great times I had ,😀

I remember sneaking my tartan scarf to school in my bag to wear on my wrist. Saw them in concert in Essen Germany. Lied to my mum that my friends Dad were taking us but we got a train. Those were the days!! I'm a 59 year old nana now and I'd have been horrified if my girls did that!!!
Yep as a 4/5 year old used to love these guys , and then in 1977 going to my local youth club discovered northern soul and never looked back 53 now and appreciate listening to the old tunes, even if it’s with a little smirk on my face x
