What's up big man.
Hell yeah brother
Love the show you and your crew on Big Iron recovery keep up the good work Sir
you need a claw attachment for the loader, way easier to move junkers around
Why do yall have it runing while pulling with planetary gears? Show? Also looks like a bad injector
I must admit it hurt my heart a little to see those trucks get destroyed. Somewhere there’s a collector literally crying because he needed those parts 😩🫣🤷🏻♀️!! Another awesome Sparks video!!
Same I was more than a little irritated when he said that they didn't have titles. Out of all the stuff he knows he somehow doesn't know/care that most states don't require a title to sell a car 25+ years old.
He says they are worthless, but I can't see there being less than $2k in parts there. $2k might not be a lot to Dave, but to me....
You think they have time for that
@@Frankensteinfabrications cry me a river
@@brettwalkom948 Yes I do. Or at the very least one of their employees does.
It hurts so much watching these old rigs just get scrapped. It would be awesome, being you have such a reach and so many followers, if you could let us all know the things you come across. And if any of us within that reach can come and harvest or save whatever is needed before its death, that would be awesome. I know someone out there is going, I've been looking for that fender or grill or whatever, for years. And in this age of being green and me hating to see our past go to waste, it would be great if y'all could start something like that. But I love seeing you guys clean up these areas no ones touched in years. I have areas near where I hunt that look identical and have been that way as long as I can remember. Wish I had the means to do what y'all are doing. Thank you guys for all you do.
I'm not going to lie, I am freaking Pissed! 😡
I would have loved to have those trucks. I hate when people don't give a shit about history! Those trucks were history!

The look on Dave's face when he was riding that loader like it was a bronco. You could tell he was totally fixed on what he was doing. Good job guys. Looking forward to the next video.
Lmao, if he had a clue what he was doing he wouldn't have ended up in that position.
Not at all. Should never be in that situation. Someone with the slightest amount of foresight could have entirely avoided that. He did a terrible job. This entire operation has been a mess form the start.
I learned of you guys last night from my local news KEZI 9 news in Eugene Oregon. You recovered a downed plane on Mt. Jefferson. I want to thank you for helping that family in their time of sorrow and need. ive sense watched many of your videos and you've hooked me for life they are awesome. I wish my life was half as exciting as yours. Keep the videos coming!!!

I was crying from laughing so hard
And that fucking blue radio dude KKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK
Damn it broke my heart seeing that old service truck destroyed
That was not right
Money isn't everything, there is more to life than big toys and computer chipped off roaders. Some vehicles have a story to tell just by the look of them.
It would of been beautiful to restore and leave the body as original as possible, could carry all the tools you would ever need. But hemmt ❤️
at a certain point there would be more stuff to be fixed then is even on the car, sure you had some body pieces and its original. but to renovate that, like 90% would be new stuff, it was done. at that point you might as well piece together a new car from new parts and make it look like that. that was beyond repair worthy. sure they could of pulled off any good parts, but the build it self was not really workable.
🎻
I'm pretty sure Alan was interested in those trucks. I liked the 2nd one with the box on it.

There is nothing more terrifying than that moment when you go from being in control of the situation to being a passenger along for the ride, What a rush tho lol

Yeah reminds me of when the idiots I worked for decided no studs were needed on the 275 ton terex crane when we "walked" it down the hill in winter in Edmonton Alberta. Hey look a million pounds is sliding, weeee.
We were using skid steers to lever off this bank so they could plant grass. It was about 30ft tall. We have been up and down it all day. About 2 hours before we were to quit I was at the top. I turned to go back down. I looked and seen a wheel rolling down the hill. I thought “That looks like my wheel”. It was and I rolled all the way to the bottom in a barrel roll. Thank goodness I had my seatbelt on. Still broke 2 finger, 3 ribs and one hell of a headache. The rental company said when they did maintenance they must have not tightened all the bolts. There is like 30 of them on each wheel lol.

there is something hypnotic about watching you guys put new life into old machines. i could watch first starts all day.
Yeah but it was kinda cringe to watch those trucks get destroyed for no reason. You need a title in a lot of placed to sell a vehicle that old and given their rarity, parts could have been a few thousand each. The Apache looked to be in pretty damn good shape and easily restorable.
Wonder how long it took whovever drove those excavators all the way up there to complete their journey to the top.

Always hurts to see cool old trucks even in the condition of those being scrapped. I know they have no titles, and they are just going to sit and rot anyway, but it still hurts a little.
Yeah so someone can buy it and then let it sit in their yard for a couple decades and rot more. 🙄
In most of the free Republican states, you can get a title and registration and put them back on the road.
It hurts a lot I would say! But then you have to know how expensive vehicles are in Finland there not so many have money enough to buy a car under twenty years old! The poor people who need a car in the country pays for the billionaire's luxurious life in the cities who have a much cheaper tax rate too!
they could be restored, unnescessary to destroy them. title you get easy
@@oliverroedel1111 While all true. There are several problems that make those trucks not worth saving.
1. Someone has to get them off that mountain without destroying them. Dave could have done that, but it's much more work than pushing it down a hill.
2. Someone is not going to pay more that 2k per truck if we are being generous.
3. Yes titles can be acquired, but it is a significant process for a no value truck
4. The people with the money to restore these vehicles is likely not located anywhere near this place, and they will have to be transported which has its own set of problems.
5. Even if Dave just hauled them into town and tried to sell them it's a hassle to do that as well.
At the end of the day. Either Dave scraps these trucks or they sit and keep rotting.

oh ya the frame and few peices of the body totally could of been restored.... the biggest thing on those cars was the cab of one truck. you aint going to use a rotted frame, or the engine for that matter. they were like 5% actually restorable things. the amount of restoration needed, like 95% of the truck needed replacing, you have a bit of the cab and side panels. it would of been cool if the pulled of the good peices of body. other than that, you would be replacing every single other piece of that truck because it was just rusted to no functionality. old trucks are cool i get it, but some are beyond sensible repair. restoring these would be 5% original replace everything else. its not really restoring at that point
@@Bannanasammich Those are very good points you have. We often think with our hearts rather than our heads. I'm sure more than myself fell into that hole. I did notice that one frame looked in good condition, but without being there, we can't judge what a camera shows us.
