Hi, we are Stephen, Jess and little Hunter, a travelling family currently building a Sprinter van into their tiny home on wheels to travel around Australia.
This has been such a long time coming - a journey we have all been going on together - so we are SO shocked that this week we packed up our home and officially moved into Cooper the van woohoo!!
I'm so excited for the road trip adventures. I can't wait!!

Congratulations! So exciting! Sweet Hunter and all her little giggles are just too precious. We love camping on the coast, though in Northern California, and there’s nothing better than morning coffee on the beach. Have so much fun!

That's a hatchet (one handed) not an axe (two handed), put shoes on unless you want to loose a part a a foot, if the blade glances off wood.
I had a close shave once wearing sandals so I second this post’s warning 😂

I figured it is like the States. There is something in every state, that you could spend 10 years traveling and never see it all.
Australia is so big and so open, bet it has even more to see.

One of the best pieces of advice we’ve had about our little one (about six months younger than Hunter!) is to get them used to noise. Our little man has a pretty good tolerance for background noise now, though obviously loud bangs and persistent loud noise is an issue!

I think the total distance traveled would be 20000km
If you follow the coast road all around (from Perth and back), there are 14.000 km, so 20.000 sounds good (with additional trips around the road).
@@alinam5092 6,000 extra km seems like a lot, I'm thinking around 17,000. We'll see!
@@yousefnoori I think it depends if they will also go inside the continent or they will only follow the coast.
@@yousefnoori Well according to google the perimeter of Australia's coastline is 25,760km so considering they will not exactly go around the perimeter and may add some trips inside the continent 20,000 could be a wild guess.

easy firestarters that are compact to pack when camping are cotton rounds (makeup remover ones) dipped in melted candle wax...much easier than fighting the wind with a match on its own

The most important thing to buy is a mesh ground mat. You put it down first thing when you pull up. A mat like CGear Matting is a bit dearer but allows sand and dirt to fall through and not kill the grass. I saw you put down the beautiful blanket and thought that is so Jess. Another must have for your travels is a Darche
Stainless Steel BBQ 310 Firepit. It gives you your own fire pit and you can cook on it, then it folds up into a bag. Love your channel.

Awesome journey guys- my hubby was an RFDS pilot and we did the road trip for QLD to Meekatharra where we were based…..we then did a further 4 years in the Kimberley. Those coastal roads are amazing. Enjoy every moment!

I would recommend getting a magnetic bug/fly net for your back and side doors :) we got ours for $20 from Bunnings and they are great!
