Hi, we are Stephen, Jess and little Hunter, a traveling family who spent 2020 self-converting a van before moving in full-time to drive around our home country of Australia. We have now completed our lap, said our goodbyes, and resumed full-time travel before we wait for our second baby to arrive.

When you started this, "Flying the Nest" was about leaving home. Now you're literally "Flying the Nest" around the world with you.

Hunter is such a cool kid. She just rolls with the punches. It looks like she will be an amazing person to be around when she grows up. Mom & Dad you are doing a fantastic job with the babies.

I love all your videos but have always loved your "non travel videos too... like your videos at home during covid were some of my favorites. Just getting to "hang out" with such chill, happy, friendly people (and now family) is a breath of fresh air ❤
I loved the morning routine and would love to see a night routine! It's very interesting especially as we start to travel with our little one.
Wow guys, it has been a long time since I have seen you all in such a raw way and to be honest, I personally miss this and like it more than the "dressed up" version of flying the nest if you will as that is what originally made me fall in love with you guys and your channel to begin with. The genuineness of you both and your personalities shine through on these kind of vlogs and your children only in enhance that. We can see that your amazing personalities rub off on them both and seeing them grow with you just makes it all so much more special.
Please don't ever change for anyone and I vote to see a routine of you guys doing the evening routine as it also will help loads of other parents and make me feel like maybe I will have kids one day? Lol❤

I have been one of your followers since the beginning and I have to say it is brilliant to see these types of vlogs. Refreshingly realistic. The problem with edited vlogs is that they can convey an image of perfection, which is obviously not true to life. This vlog really captures what we don't usually get to see and shows even more how down to earth you both are! I also really respect and admire that you opened up about the bottle fed v breast fed issue, Jess. Keep up the awesome work, guys!
Love that you show the chaos and intensity of everyday kiddo life. Definitely major perks to being in Bali! I’m always amazed at how great you two are at planning- trip planning, planning out your day, planning what to bring etc. I wish I could have an ai version of you guys to plan my life 😂 both your kids have such sweet dispositions koa is definitely more of an internal processor while hunter is a born extrovert. I’m the same - I prefer educational activities to playing make believe! It’s harder than you think to come up with all those story lines. Someone give Steve an Emmy for his ability to keep up with hunters playtime! ❤
Mom of three here and YES routines are key, especially when traveling (and yes to naps in light and noise!). This brings me back to when mine were little! My kids were/still are pretty cheeky. I also chuckled at showing Hunter what happens if you don't brush your teeth - we had to do the same thing!

I bottle fed baby 1 she grew up to be an amazing healthy human. I nursed baby 2 and 3 and supplemented with formula and they both grew into amazing humans. ❤keep on doing what your doing!! You guys are fantastic parents.

Thank you for sharing what's happening behind the scenes. Seeing just a normal family behind "Flying the Nest" was very enlightening and funny. I must say, as a mother it can be quite intimidating seeing only the vlogs when you travel with a baby and a toddler. Just the thought of traveling with two young kids makes me panic quite a bit. And you do that in the most remote places with long travel distances. I was Always wondering when Hunter gets her playtime between all the travels. It is really gorgeous to see Steve playing with Hunter! You are a really lovely and well organized Family!

Love getting to see a peak behind the scenes!! At about 18:40 you can really see a sibling resemblance! I never thought about the water thing as I’m not a traveler. Brilliant idea about showing Hunter the danger of not brushing the teeth, so simple but most don’t think of it! I try to say it every time I comment, thank you for sharing your lives. How to cook scrambled eggs in microwave -> put some eggs, milk, honey, and salt (no oil) in a much bigger (than the amount of ingredients) microwave resistant bowl. Heat until the eggs start to bubble. Stir (add a bit more heat if needed). Pls try.

Thanks for the insight! Would love an evening routine video and also just general traveling/eating out with kids while traveling stuff. We just finished a month in Japan, Thailand and Singapore with 4 kids ages 12, 8, 2, 1 and it was very challenging!! Glad to be home and back to our own home in Australia...hats off to you guys for doing this full time 😅
