- Dakota Johnson revealed to Ellen that her favorite comedian is Tig Notaro, who did a standup set during her recent 30th birthday party. The actress also opened up about what it was like on the set for "The Peanut Butter Falcon" with co-star Shia LaBeouf, who was arrested while filming the movie.

Yeah it’s almost scary how when she is flat out caught lying, and her fans believed what she said and have actually repeated it she won’t come forth and admit it and her fans pretty much don’t either. Perfect example is the Selena cheating with Anniston’s husband portraying Selena as this woman who constantly, pretty much , sleeps with her friends boyfriends which just plain out isn’t true at all. The whole story came from her previous home of the Star magazine that couldn’t even get other celeb magazines to take the lead. For the simple reason they could not find anything to validate any part the accusations. One went as far to say that they that Justin ( Jennifer’s now x), would more so adopt Selena not sleep with her. In other words saying in their eyes and what they know of the relationship he was a father figure to her. Then of course right in front of god and entire world who’s show were they on together with Jennifer hosting, THE ELLEN Show.

Isn't that the point of an interview? The interviewers job is to put the guest on the spot to answer questions. The entire point of any talk show is to have guests answer current questions viewers will find interested. I'm not even a huge Ellen fan but it's so strange to me people are hating on her for doing her job and cracking jokes. I've seen so many talk show hosts do WAY worse on a regular basis and not get this much flack back

We're not mad at her because she's doing her job and cracking jokes. We are mad at her because she interviews very passively aggressively, when there are plenty of other people out there who do interviews that are nothing like that. You do not need to be passive aggressive when interviewing somebody, especially somebody who is known to be nice, sweet, someone you've even interviewed before. Interviews can be tough. Not like all actors instantly feel comfortable. So many experience anxiety, insecurities, and intimidations. Dakota is a sweetheart, but she also grew up with two famous parents who allowed her to be on sets, attend famous parties, meet actors, and feel protected. She had a chance to relax and get comfortable; basically make it part of her life to the point she can interview with such a relaxed presence. Yes, everywhere you go there are people (who are NOT fake people btw because no such thing), but behave in a superficial way by saying what they think others want/expect to hear. Its not limited to Hollywood.

It’s because the interviewee evidently isn’t a fan of the host (a host that screams phoniness) and she’s calling said host out. The tension was real here.
Now maybe an interview like this wouldn’t have been a big deal back in them good ol’ days (just another day), but then again the host of this particular show is now being exposed for who she is - and many believe it started here.

I think she is authentic and honest, not fake like most people, and her authenticity can make some people uncomfortable if they are not used to it. But I love her and find her to be a breath of fresh air!

Dang not only did she not back down, she also wouldn't throw Shia LaBeouf under the bus when asked about his arrest, and gave a very compassionate answer. And when Ellen tried to throw the last dig at her with the clip of Shia talking about his best on screen kiss, she handled it like a total boss.
Yeah the answer that Dakota said about Shia's arrest was really beautiful and emphatic, and of course Ellen asked it to make her uncomfortable, but she handled it perfectly.
Also, how did she put that clip after the very thoughtful answer Dakota gave to her? If someone tells me stuff like that, I'd totally abort that joke or wathever that was.
