Progressive Springs installed without removing the shocks on my 2016 Honda Goldwing by my friend Dave. Since he had the time, he disabled my Anti-Dive and changed out the differential oil.
Tony, This was just a fun project! 🤪 So happy your enjoying them. That's all the compensation I need! The Pickup is a 1962 Corvair Rampside. It was my Fathers and I restored it as a tribute to him. The Green Van is a 1964 Corvair Greenbrier I have owned for over 40 years and have personally put 326,000 miles on the clock. Our family has had Corvair's in the family since my Mother bought a new one in 1963. Yep... their special! I go by Corventure Dave from a blend of Corvair and Venture... my fist Touring bike, back in the day. So now Ya'll have the whole story. And Slappy... Yes definitely meet up some day. Enjoy your posts! Maybe we can get Tony to ride Bi###..... pillion again... No forget that! 🤣 Corventure Dave
Cool garage. I just had my Africa Twin springs changed, I’m glad I didn’t try to do it, the shop had to remove everything, they said the rear was the most difficult, and the instructions from the vendor were wrong. My bike is now lowered to a great height and has less dive during breaking.
Did you put butter on your popcorn 🤣🤣 I couldn't have imagined changing springs myself, but now that I've seen the master at work I would try if I had the right tools... but only the springs lol. The bike feels good with Progressive Springs, less dive under braking, better tracking in curves, and just an overall better feeling.
Bushings and seals were replaced at 20K miles. I should have replaced the springs at that time but I was dreaming of a full Traxxion upgrade 🤣 Anyway here we are.
Nice...It looks pretty easy to install or he just made it look easy. That will be my next install (not by me) lol. My bike drifts slightly to the right.
Well, it's a good thing this video was for entertainment purposes only. If you're really trying to replace your springs, refer to the owners manual or seek out an actual "How To" video.
I’m getting popcorn for this one!
🤣🤣🤣🤣👍🏾
This guy has a very nice garage and for sure he knows how to deal with bikes. Enjoyed it till the very end. Got my like Tony. Like always.
He has the same year and model Goldwing as I, and he has loads of mods that I plan to copy... with his assistance of course 🤣🤣🤣
@@2Wheel4Fun In that case you are gonna need a lot of time. :) Will be worth it I think.

I like to meet that guy...... very nice truck and van..... you should love that upgrade and the anti-dive...... big improvements
Golden Slappy, the change is just golden👍🏾😊
I hoped you would like it
@Slappy Adventure's indeed, braking, tracking in curves, and just the overall suspension is just better with the upgraded Springs... Very nice.
Should have done complete bushing, seals and fork oil at same time. If you have 40,000 miles or more.

Dave is your man lol.
Look ma I can ride with no hands and the bike goes straight lol.
Almost useless to anyone who is trying to learn how to do this job.
