@@JesusSaves010 yes, it will. But feel free to explore additional resources. Check out the playlist from this comment. There is another course on compTIA A+
Hey thank you for putting this video up. I was studying for my CCNA but I want to get my A+ first. Wick question is the Linux + like the A+ ? Bc this is a lot of windows stuff and I don't use windows anymore just linux
This seems old will it help for exam now

Got my A+ Cert on Thursday 2/24/2022, best feeling ever completing it!
any suggestions on study guides or help for a beginner?
@@jamielwilliams1142 professor messer and his practice exams are good. Also, the Exam Cram CompTIA A+ book is very helpful, i think its about $30 on amazon. If you master everything covered in those materials, you will pass the exams. This channel is pretty great too of course
Congratulations!!! Did you have any previous experience in IT?
@@yothatvoice2964 i took a computer networking class my senior year of Highschool, which that was 11 years ago lol, and my sophomore year i went to a tech school while i lived in Alabama and did a class on being a PC technician, that was 2007-2008, minus that i just studied what came in the test bundle through CompTIA and did the practice test they offered several billion times till i could answer the questions without thinking about it too much. Took me about a year of studying and etc to do it
Wow that's impressive. Thanks so much for breaking everything down to me I really appreciate it.
Brian I just wanted to say a quick thank you for your helpful insights.
Thank you so much for your help, I wish there was more opportunity like this , for everything.
thank you op
youre a blessing
This is for the old exam BTW.
lol thanks for the heads up!....Is the info still valuable if I wanted to take the exam within a few months?
Can anyone recommend a free resource that's for beginners?
Thanks dude!
i'm so glad this one is not in 360p
Great video and very informative!
i want to finish this video and like it but i cant stand the constant tick noise in the background... hope in the future there isnt such noise in the background...
Thank you. My second time watching it. Is there an updated version?
Nope, at least not yet.
Thanks!
Nice keep posting like this videos thank you
Great to get brushed up on garage doo dats many us net users are accustomed with lifestyle wise for applicable certs. and degree starting.
You are a really good teacher also , you know how to teach , and you have a way of talking that is unique from the norm.
Thank you
32 bit windows xp - 7? How old is this video?
10-15 years old maybe?
@@teacherrussell5206 Not quite that old, but then again it might as well be. Nobody consulted me before they found and repackaged material. It was created originally for Edmonds Community College's PACE-IT program for the CompTIA 800 series A+ exam. So it is seriously out of date. As the material was made open source, I have little to no control over it.
Old, it was created for the 800 series of CompTIA A+ exams.
I just watched the first session and I really liked it. I am going to watch everything. Great content!
Thanks for your feedback on this CompTIA A+ course
Same I'm going to use this play list for my ethical hacking journey. If anybody wants to link up and share free educational info comment this!
not good
who starts off with software begin with hardware than explain how software is needed for hardware to work the differences between UI and GUI you jumped straight into software for beginners this may be confusing
Make vedio Series on basic fundamentals of computer.
do you have a book for this article
thank you
Please, please add the translation in your videos. I want to learn, but I cannot understand the language further. Please add the translation.
Thank you and for your efforts
is there a pdf version of this i can download ?
This is dated information of previous exams, but it will help you understand why things are what they are in current models (the evolution/development of the systems)
1:30 isn't the theoretical maximum RAM of 64 bit is so much higher than that?
windows 10 pro could have 2 TB RAM
Thanks so much۔
Why you remove computer networking video sir
thanks
You're welcome!
might i suggest splitting the video into 1001 and 1002.... other than that great video so far
This is a video for the now discontinued 901+902 comptia exam. 1001/02 includes Win 10 and doesn't really touch XP or Vista (I'm not certain about the Vista though. Might still be there.)
@@zenkiki The Windows OSes covered in the 1001/1002 is Windows 7, 8/8.1, and 10.
@@vipermustang42 I figured that.
Would be nice, but this material was created for 801 and 802
@@brianferrill4951 still very helpful nonetheless, thanks for what you do man!
Thank you for the big help. I did not realized that XP were still covered well into the 21st Century. Seem archaic! :-)> Wondering if XP is still covered as of 2021.
No, this material was created for the 800 series exams for A+. I believe that A+ is up to the 1000 series.
I am cramming this as a review session before my exam. I don't think this content is up to date at all, but I hope it helps somewhat.
just watch the cert animation one, its similar content but far better quality.
@@danishabid2402 Is it up tp date tho?
@@shaunkerr8721 it's the exam before the one he's covering here
Someone says CCNA, CCNP, CCIE in Routing-Switching might lose its popularity over the time in next few years, as the industry is shifting towards cloud, network virtualization (SDN/NFV). Cloud infrastructure will make Security related courses very popular. Then what would i do? Go for ccna or having sdn?
I just did CCNA course and most of it is unavoidable - it will teach you everything you HAVE TO know in networking so if you ever start network programing or cloud engineering you will have good bacground. And everything you learn in CCNA you will cover in later certifications. Out of all Comptia courses A+ is unavoidable evil to even get the job interview but rest of them I heard because Comptia is required for USA government jobs their cybersecurity certs are good. Now I work for cloud provider and deffinetly CCNA is better than network+ if you are interested in cloud. keep asking around and good luck
Thanks a lot
Is a single line completely secure from other computers using the line at the same time ??
The cloud is just somebody else computer. There's a Data Center and equipment somewhere that someone will have to manage.
This seems old will it help for exam now
@MAGUS I know him and I love his videos 100%100
perfect hihi
No windows 10? Didnt that come out in 2015?
uploaded in 2020 and only covers to Windows 7? Does this even cover the current Comptia A+ testing?
😂😂
Not likely
No it doesn't. Nobody consulted me before they found and repackaged material. It was created originally for Edmonds Community College's PACE-IT program for the CompTIA 800 series A+ exam. So it is seriously out of date. As the material was made open source, I have little to no control over it.
Does he keep clapping his hands? I keep hearing a clapping sound. Hard to focus
None of the A+ reviews I've seen in the past year even mention Windows XP. While the information is still interesting and could be used in a intro course, it no longer belongs in a cram course for the A+. There is also no point in talking for less than 5 minutes on a topic and then taking 30 seconds to review what was just said. The review format could be useful, but not every 5 minutes. Maybe talk for 15-20 minutes then do a review page.
A lot of information here is outdated to the point where you will not see it referenced on any A+ exams nor will you use it in the workplace.
If this was uploaded 10 years ago, it would make sense, but tagging this with A+ and #cert in 2020 just makes PaceIT look bad.
TLDR: filler time in the video is out of control, way too much outdated information
Original content was as supplemental material for other curriculum. Each session was created as a stand alone video. Also since the material was posted as open source, I wasn't consulted before this material was repackaged (I would have requested a disclaimer as this was created for the 800 series of A+ exams)
What? No Windows 8/8.1/10? Windows 7/8/8.1/10 are the only versions of Windows listed in the 220-1002 Objectives.
Nobody consulted me before they found and repackaged material. It was created originally for Edmonds Community College's PACE-IT program for the CompTIA 800 series A+ exam. So it is seriously out of date. As the material was made open source, I have little to no control over it.
sofware for game online
Windows XP? Windows Vista? not part of 1002 objectives.

This video is full of inaccurate informations, even in the first few minutes. Max RAM for 64 bit systems is way higher. fat32 can support up to 16TB of partition size theoretically while 2TB is pretty much proven and used.
1:30 isn't the theoretical maximum RAM of 64 bit is so much higher than that?
windows 10 pro could have 2 TB RAM
theoretically yes it can have 2^64 bits, or 16 exabytes, but windows limited it to due to licensing:
