We've had 2 remakes so far this month, both from 2014. For this 3rd remake we're going all the way back to 2010 GaMetal for the first song I ever did based on requests: Rainbow Road from Mario Kart Wii.
Back in 2010, CZcams had a 'suggestion box' feature where people could submit 'suggestions' and everyone could vote them up or down. It was a really neat feature, but CZcams axed it for some reason. This was the first song I did from that suggestion box for having the highest upvote count.

Hey friends! I was hoping to have another 3 songs in before May ended, but at the moment it's looking 2 of those will get in next week and the 3rd will be coming at the beginning of June.
After that 3rd one we'll be getting back to non-remake stuff. This summer is gonna be jam-packed will all sorts of awesome material so stay tuned! :D
Hey Jonny, great song, as per usual. Ok, now for some song suggestions:
1. Team Plasma Medley (do any team plasma songs worth doing, which is most of them)
2. Team Rainbow Rocket Medley (same as last)
3. Pokemon Rival Theme Medley (especially do the Unovan rival themes)
4. Kirby Boss Medley (you know, the songs that play whenever you fight Wispy Woods)
5. Ultra Necrozma
6. Pokemon Legendary Encounter Medley (the songs that play whenever you encounter Pokemon like Mespirit, Cobalion, Moltres, Suicune, etc)
7. BotW Medley (do any ones you think are worth doing)
8. Hollow Knight vs. Troupmaster Grimm/Nightmare King Grimm (not sure if you could do this one, but honestly, I just want to find a Hollow Knight song you could do. If you can't do this one, completely understandable)
9. Terraria Boss Themes (dude, these songs are severely underrated. Just do the songs that play during the Eye of Chthulu and The Twins fights.)
10. High Above The Land (fuse it with Cargo Full of Fineries if you have to)
11. Flowers of Antimony (you'll probably have to fuse this with the Specter of Torment remix and the Plague Knight boss themes)
Some of these suggestions are a bit out there, so I just want to remind you that you don't have to do all of these, just the ones that you want to do. Love your music, and hope you have fun doing what you love!

Yes, CZcams is known for getting rid of really useful features for no good reason at all
I mean, it kind of just got merged into the comments system. But that made problems such as legitimately helpful suggestions being hidden by shitty jokes.
The same way response videos got merged into regular videos. I swear, any good feature CZcams has to offer today is in danger of not existing tomorrow.
If I sound bitchy, that's because I'm still sour from they removing the "show playlists that include this video" feature. That used to help me a bunch..
Eichro Not really. No feature was lost from the merge with comments. Video responses lost the response part. The suggestions more or less worked the same.
Guys STOP, you might give them another idea, like getting rid of Likes and Dislikes. No one wants that, so don't egg them on.
I just want the thumbs down on comments to actually do something again, I miss the days when idiots saying something stupid got downvoted into the negatives instead of today where at best they're slightly less upvoted no matter how dumb they are.

This is such an underrated Rainbow Road theme. It builds upon the GC and DS ones, but adds some really nice flourishes, such as the Good Egg Galaxy counter-melody. Great cover, as usual.
Game Revo The underrated rainbow road theme has definitely gotta be the GBA one. It would be amazing to see Jonny make a cover of this one.

+Ryan _ In the beginning of the song, when the first leitmotif replays, if you listen closely you can hear the melody of good egg galaxy in the background. It’s much easier hear in the original though
GBA and Wii are the most underrated. Wii even more so. THIS REMIX IS SO PERFECT! Wii is best.

My grandmother can play Mario Kart but after all these years, she stills can't do the rainbow road (she plays in automatic by the way)

Out of all the Mario Kart songs that Johnny has made so far, this is the only one to truly have a final lap theme, in a sense. The GBA Bowser's Castle one has three laps, but the third lap is actually slower than the first two laps, while here this one is a true final lap. Oh yeah, and unsurprisingly, I love this theme

Every shooting star that you see falling through through night sky is an unfortunate soul that fell off this race course.
With different guitar tones and midis this could straight up be a dream theater song.

This song is basically the only thing that can give me what I’m pretty sure is Nostalgia, it’s just special to me. Seeing this in my notifications was special. The first rainbow road I really got into. Loved playing it with friends and I beat the time trial ghost when I was a kid. I've mastered this stage long ago. The music just puts me in a good mood. Your 2010 remix surprised me by how good it was when I listened to it a few years ago. THIS ONE MAKES ME FEEL SO GOOD INSIDE, It's an amazing remake. Thanks for remaking this one.
