Showa and Asagi selected, a quick look at them then off into their new homw, where hopefully they will get some decent growth this summer
Once again thanks to everyone who was part of the event and to the people who came for a Koi social in the sun at the farm.

Not a lover of Asagi but I do like the one you picked. Body will come on, I am sure, but love the head shape and the cream coloured head. Really clean head. Nice
Hope the body improves otherwise gonna have a snake lol. Shame you couldnt make it, catch you at the national maybe :-)
Was a fantastic day a great event thank you for arranging it 😀 😊 I may have been pick 30 but I'm still over the moon with my showa 👍👍 and even for pick 32 you got a couple of stunners yourself 👍 was great to meet ya 👍

Great day, met some very nice people and enjoyed some great koi chat. Very happy with my Showa (pick 34), will definitely come to next years, so can you reserve me a Kohaku and a Mukashi 😂😂😂😂. I wonder if your patio will be finished by then😳. Thanks to you and Adam for organising the event and all the other helpers who made it such a great day👍🏻. Stay safe and well 👍🏻
Exellent! exactly what the day is about. Now, its quite easy to go off people but the patio saga! Of course it wont be done lol come on now im not a machine lol.

Evening Andy was good to have a chat again, it's always better in person. A couple of good picks there we know the people we picked for are very happy, 🤞🏼they get some good growth and development. Hope to see you again at the BKKS if you make the Saturday 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Yes good olde bit of banter :-) Glad they are happy for the price i think its a good deal, and yeah like you say fingers crossed they grow and develop well over the coming year. Ill be going but not sure what day, I need to confirm with my driver which day lol

We had a similar choice on the asagi i think 🤔 light in colour and minimal beni.
I have been trying to get the right ratio sinking to floating and im now 75/25 in favour of the floating.
I have found that the sinking is more of a wafting to the bottom rather than plop n drop 🤣 if you catch my drift 🤣
Fed through a feeder it doesn't stay on the surface but gently by hand it can take some encouragement, probably air or surface tension.
Looking forward to seeing last year's results and to see who wins🏆

Im, no doubt like you, hoping for the beni to develop over time, and the light bluecolour now getting darker with age too, and ive gone long lol Just hope it continues and inturn fills out and gets a body. Tomorrows video is all food related, a complete muck up on my part lol

Correct, it has orange on its cheeks, the hope is that the orange developes as the koi gets older as its still very pale! Dont panic it could be good, time will tell though :-)
