I would keep bringing my zero turn in to the shop every January for new blades, belts, change oil, air cleaner, but now I have an oil leak from the motor (450 hour) which they are telling me is not worth fixing (its only 4 years old but I cut a lot of yards with my rental property) so now I just keep putting in oil when its low. its a 600 charge every year so I am going to tackle it this year thanks for the for the video.

Good luck on it and depending on where the oil Leake is there, usually not bad to replace a seal or a gasket

2 years too late , but if you need to get a pressed on bearing off again just grind it off . doesn't matter if you nick the shaft a little . freeze the shaft before hammering new bearing on .

That is a great suggestion. I will probably rebuild a different deck this winter and will definitely do that.
      Thanks

You should have sprayed those spindle bolts a day or two before you put the impact on them. I use PB Blaster or Kroil.

You can’t go wrong with OEM parts . I have a Husqvarna lawn mower but not a zero turn . I get my blades from the dealer and they are actually cheaper from him . I need to do a drive belt and deck belt on mine this winter also . Good video . Hope y’all are doing well . Del

Sometimes its more cost effecient to replace complete assemlies that trying to piecemeal parts back together. Old spindle towers may have a little slop in the bearing cup too. You did good!

Does the new spindles come with sealed bearings or will they take grease?🤔

I did not open it up, but it will say those first spindles probably lasted 15 years so whatever the case they work pretty well
