The way Nate writes music is amazing. A lot of his original songs can literally be paired up with a video game or Fandom, and it works because his lyrics are so vague. That's why I still like his fnaf songs. None of them sound like they're a fnaf song like livingtombstone. (Not dissing livingtombstone). Just my opinion though, don't know how everyone else feels.
I think having vague lyrics, and also having the whole song be about things within the franchise are pretty valid. Though we all got our preferences.
But yeah, a lot of the songs Nate’s done can fit pretty well with something unrelated to it. They’re vague enough for you to fit it into something you personally relate to, or to something like fnaf.
Totally agree. At this point I don't even consider most of his FNAF songs 'FNAF songs' anymore. They just work too well in general to really fit the bill. Only the very on the nose ones like 'Mangled' or 'The Finale' do I consider 'FNAF songs'.

To be fair a few of the FNAF songs are a mixture of FNAF and his opinions on them, but I know what ya mean but that just shows how much of a great artist he is
While To Let Go, Sandcastle Kingdoms and Paid In Exposure are amazing, it always hurt me that album releases were the only times we got originals from Nate. It makes me so happy to see that we are getting random singles now along with the albums

Yeah I was thinking about that, because the lyrics definitely don't have anything to do with FNAF (though that's always the charm with Nate's fandom songs), but the topic version seems to have been posted just yesterday, which means the song released at the same time as this animation as far as I can find.

I really love this song, it sounds super intense and heart felt, and I've been listening to it a lot these last few days.
That being said, I find it sad that he feels the need to smack "fnaf" on top of it in order for people to actually care about it. I know he does it because, that's basically how it is, but it just feels bad. His music is fantastic, always has been, but it's like he's stuck in this "fandom music" prison, when he really doesn't want to be here.

While not my favorite of his originals I like this direction. Nate’s FNAF songs have always more or less felt like original stuff with FNAF slapped(especially nothing to me) on so why not just go with it. Nate fans will get the more unique and original stuff and CZcams gets its fill of algorithm fodder to promote because FNAF.

You know, this was actually maybe second fnaf track that felt like and actual horror aside of Circus of The Dead, Replay Nightmare by ninja and Freak by GatoPaint. I was ACTUALLY SCARED by lyrics and the intensity here. That's sick in all the right and wrong ways, gosh....
