I love how “it’s quiet here” is the first and last lines of the song. The first time it is said is seems like a feeling of resentment but the last time it it used it seems like a felling of acceptance

The "Gregory" lyrics are perfectly done. Misleading enough to follow, yet we see the true motives when it's too late. Well done. Toasty's portion is done well too.
oh my god. this song is absolutely incredible. i love how the chorus changes from being about "gregory" being trapped under the pizzaplex to cassie falling down the elevator shaft. the fallen down reference in the quickstartmusic ad was a nice touch too. incredible work as always, dean!

Holy crap, you weren’t lying when you said this was your best song yet 👹 This is beautiful! It’s so orchestral and huge, yet somewhat compressed and has a smaller feeling in the beginning. The first chorus gave me chills (as well as the rest of the song lol). And oh my god, your and Toasty’s vocals are heavenly. The last chorus is so climactic. I love this song so much, you killed it!
Edit: this is kind of a song that you can listen to without knowing what FNAF is. I played it for my dad in the car and he thought it was awesome!

No More and Code Red are probably my all time favorites of his other than this new song of course, and The One Who Waits is so insanely orchestral and climactic, much like this one. I could sing LSE’s praises all day, but I guess at the end of the day it just comes down to enjoying good music lol

This one is emotional, but I literally can't stop listening to it, it reminds me of those moments when you think you can't carry on, but there's someone there to help you, which I guess encapsulates RUIN pretty well, so well done!
I'm not normally a fan of metal music, but dang this is spectacular!! Those lyrics hit so hard, and I seriously love so much about this. The deep layered voice to show it's the mimic singing at first is such a nice touch, and the fact that by the end Cassie repeats some of its lyrics because she's trapped down there now-good stuff, man. I personally think it's the mimic and not Gregory who cut the elevator, but honestly, I think it would make sense either way; as the lyrics point to, Gregory can't afford to let the mimic leave because of how horrifically dangerous it is. I love how he mentions that Cassie's familiar with painful decisions and sacrifice; she had to make the awful choice to deactivate Roxy in order to save Gregory, after all, and it's clear in the game just how much that affected her.
I love how you took Gregory's line in the game of keeping the mimic hidden and expanded upon it ("It can't be found; let it be forgotten"), and I love love LOVE how you pointed out how hard of a choice it must've been for him to sacrifice his friend for the greater good. You can hear the pain in his voice (kudos to who sang his part) and in the harmonies and it's just so GOOD AUGHfdjsajfsdl
All of the singers did phenomenal jobs! Again with the lyrics, I feel like they're absolutely perfect for each character, and I love how you made Cassie's sheer determination to save her friend so clear.
And don't get me started on the actual melodies and harmonies and chords!! So many "oh heck that was good" moments, especially throughout 2:48-3:06. Simply put, the harmonies are delicious and absolute ear candy and I love it all so much.
The visuals are amazing as well! A little rough on the eyes just 'cause of all the glitching effects, but it fits and is fun to watch anyways. XD
I hope it's clear by now but I absolutely LOVE this song to bits, and I've already replayed it several times and I'm sure it'll be stuck in my head for a while, haha. Extremely excellent job; I applaud everyone who worked on this, and I will certainly be revisiting this often! =D Big thanks to everyone involved for this wonderful work of art. ^^
Edit: AAAA I forgot to talk about the use of instruments too!!! I love the piano at the beginning, setting the tone of this being a solemn song (given the context/lyrics) even though it goes so hard. And the use of the bells in the latter part of the song is so good!!! Makes an already awesome part that much richer and striking. It's so well done!!! ❤

I listened to this on Spotify last night, and goddamn, this song is so incredibly beautiful, from the instrumental, to the lyrics, to Dean and Toasty's vocals. The final minute of this song itself is so powerful to me. Amazing job you guys

This is a different FNaF song, and that's what makes it incredible! The atmosphere, the vocals and all the instruments work together to create something beautiful, yet also haunting if you think about it. This gives me the nostalgic feeling of listening to rock bands like Linkin Park or Metallica. This is amazing, well, well done man!

I think this is a song mostly about the mimic, as the orange words are sang by a robotic voice luring the pink words (Cassie) into releasing it, saying that it's a "friend". By the way, great song!

With every song you make, you define a genre, Dean. With mostly fast-paced metal songs, I thought your SB song might be the same but it was so much more. It was slow and haunting, loomimg over the listener and enveloping them. Absolutely stellar work on what isn't an instrumental, but rather a daunting symphony. This perfectly captures how Cassie must have felt going through the Pizzaplex. Fantastic work by you and Toast! I am elated to see what your next song may be.
I can say without a doubt that this is the best song about RUIN I've heard, and a LOT of songs were made when RUIN came out!

Amazing song, but I do have a suggestion for the chorus.

I have no music experience, but this sets up a really nice rhyme. When I was first listening to this, I was singing along and I was so caught off guard when it said “dark” because I thought it was setting up that rhyme. Also, I think “underground” could also work instead of saying “in the ground.” I don’t know which one would sound better but I think they both could fit.

Honestly the only thing stopping this song from being perfection is every time the lyric “forgotten in the dark” play’s my brain wants to autocorrect it to “forgotten in the ground” it just feels like such a better choice to me both thematically and lyrically. My opinion though

I can't explain how good this is. I was asked a question once on 'What topic could you continue on and on about for 30 minutes? I woulda said FnaF, but this song. I can literally go on forever. The end bit with the tutorial thing is SO PRETTY. 2:13 to the end gives me chills, especially the 'But I can't risk this world'!!!!! And the chorus has me singing along everytime, scratch that, the entire song I will be singing to it (and getting weird looks). This song is amazing!!! Right up there with my favorites!
Your songs will always strike as immaculate! This one in particular definitely is differentiated amongst other songs in terms of the vibe. It really makes you ride an emotional, musical wave into an orchestral metalcore song!
