    Thank you so much! This video was super helpful for a 32 yr old male, who is allergic to reading instructions. ❤️

    Thanks! Not sure really how useful the Litter Shield is, but mine was at the bottom of the unit. Thanks to this video I know what the KEY does and how it actually locks into place. I don't understand why the key is there in the first place I guess if it's always supposed to be locked into place...??? Thanks!

    • @LitterRobot
      @LitterRobot  Před 4 lety

      Yes, the key should always be in the correct position. The Internal Shield can be removed. If you would like assistance with this, please contact support@litter-robot.com

    will a kitten be able to be trained using this?

    • @LitterRobot
      @LitterRobot  Před 5 lety

      Yes, but we do not recommend that kittens or cats that weigh 5 pounds or less use the Litter-Robot in the unattended automatic mode. Their low weight may not activate the cat sensor. Cats should weigh at least 5 pounds before using the Litter-Robot in automatic mode. Until then, we recommend leaving the Litter-Robot turned off. When you see your cat has used the Litter-Robot, turn it on, and the Litter-Robot will automatically perform a clean cycle. Once it finishes (about 2 ½ minutes), turn the power off. This way, your kitten is safe while it gets accustomed to the Litter-Robot at a young age, and you don’t have to scoop the litter box!

    Can I get a replacement for the instruction manual?
    We just purchased a litter robot, and in the process of unpacking, I seem to have misplaced or tossed the instruction manual....it may be my "pride" hid it on me.( I have several kitties!)

    Can this work for 3 cats

    • @LitterRobot
      @LitterRobot  Před 3 lety

      Hi there! Yes, it's great for multiple cats! Since it automatically cleans after each use, there's always a fresh bed of litter waiting for the next cat. We generally recommend one Litter-Robot per 3-4 cats.

    Shield? Mine doesn't have any shield.....

    • @LitterRobot
      @LitterRobot  Před 2 lety

      Hi there! The internal shield was a part of our older models, but our most current models don't have this part anymore. We're sorry for the confusion!

    Kittens wont be big enough to make that big step.

    • @LitterRobot
      @LitterRobot  Před 4 lety

      Most importantly, kittens should weigh at least 5 pounds before using the Litter-Robot in automatic mode. We recommend leaving the Litter-Robot off and only turn it on to run a clean cycle as needed until they weigh enough to reliably activate the cat sensor. It's about 7" from the floor to the top of the built-in step, which most cats use comfortably, but for those that need a gentler entry, the Ramp accessory is available: www.litter-robot.com/litter-robot-3-ramp.html
