Dude, I've watched you since back in the day. I'm damn near 50 years old. I remember watching Mosley throw the OG 360 Mute live on NBC in 98. With that said, I, along with numerous other dirtbag skibums owe you many beers for what you have and are doing. Your channel and passion for the sport reaches more people than you know.
3.3-3.4ish seconds, I timed billy morgan's quad cork air time and it was only 3 seconds,Xgames jump this year was around 2.8-3 seconds of air time. This is definitely one of the longest air times
World record ski jump is 832ft with over double that airtime. People are crazy.

He kinda has a style like Candide Thovex, with his knees so tight together, his sticks behind him and not looking affected by any bumps while going over them with crazy speed

I think it's his lack of fear or disregard of death, not necessarily low IQ, that pushes him to perform the stunts.
I mean it takes a big brain to be able to learn a language well enough in one year, as well as he did.
I've been on duolingo for nearly a whole year and I guarantee my second-language is not as strong as Jordy's.

When Nordic skiers go 350 feet, they call it the normal hill, so he's way short for distance or hang time records. That was sick though.
that's a whole different sport though, the world record for the longest 'ski jump' jump is 253.5m but I'd say this contends for the longest 'ski' jump

I'm a snowboarder but I've been more amazed by that jump than any other big jumps of any other sports. Something about that footage and flying over the guy's head and just skiing away like it was nothing. It was epic.

No he just had compression fracture of his L1 vertebrae on this jump, but the third time he’s broken his sternum (chest plate).
This reminds me of the character "Phineas" (aka "Finny") front John Knowles novel, "A Separate Peace." Phineas was fictional but he was known for his spectacular athleticism and how he never needed attention for his incredible feats.

I wish there was a mountain close to me in oklahoma. There are like tiny ski hills that sometimes are open in missouri but the closest actual mountain is like 600+ miles in new mexico (angel fire I think is technically the closest). I miss skiing so much.

years ago, i've seen a clip of a guy jumping further, it was near the bottom of a steep off-piste slope, .... a big natural jump comes, and he is going str8 down. landed on the back in deep powder. i think he didnt intend to fly that far,....
As an ageing guy from a country with highest "peak" of 311m, who turned both Soviet-era wooden skis to sawdust without jumping in secondary school trip and broke my jaw at the only attempt at snowboarding, i definitely felt this. Mad respect to the fine-tuned inner ear and heavyweight balls of this flying Frenchman.

Serious height and length. Honestly, this looked like the many crash videos from free skiers going way too far. But you were able to stand that. No it's not like ski jumping. (the sport). It's also not like the large air time in some downhill races. Its like one of the big air jumps, but without proper landing area. And you carried on skiing. Outstanding.
