@@Clownery1 Not mostly send unfortunately. It is muscle memory and knowing how and when to collect your body. Also you can get serious injuries when your snowboard is catching the snow and your body streches after the failed try. You gotta be in a good shape at least to avoid injuries. But even better if you practiced backflips before.

Just so you don't get wrist injuries, you wear your ski pole straps wrong! You have to go through them and then grab them along with the handle. To see if you did the right way release the pole. is it completely free under your wrist? Goodjob doing it well. Does the pole stay on top of your wrist because of the strap? Well goodluck if you do a bad fall with that one, bye bye wrist, arm, face whatever gets in it's way. ;)

I went skiing for the first time in 9 years today. Literally felt like I didn't loose a step. Legs are a little sore but darn did I miss riding.
that's awesome. I used to get in 100 days a season, but haven't been in years since I moved away from the mtns. I'll get back there one of these days.
i taught myself speedflying on my skydive rig on the glacier in la grave and on the itinery run from signal to lac des fees.most people still used skydive wings then although Gin had started making specific speedriding wings....dont go the wrong way off the Signal lift towards the la grave valley even though it looks like a nice snow dome at the top,it just becomes cliffs....there is a very accessible off piste run to the right from the la grave glacier which is full of rocks and crevasses,nice but go steady down there
