Stromae a true ARTIST in every sense of the word. Anything he does is impeccable! His lyrics are relevant and quite unique, he takes the best the world has on offer and blends this all in such a sublime way. ALL his videos are little gems of art and come with English subtitles so you don't have to miss a thing he's saying. 'Papaoutai', Formidable, Tous les memes,... you can have your pick, they will all blow you away, willing to bet my bottom dollar to that!!

Listen to papaoutai. It's about how his father died during the rwanda genocide and his mom told him that his dad was just working there and couldn't come home, so he grew to resent his dad thinking he was just an absent father. He only learned the truth in his teen years. Great song
I actually found Stromae from Pentatonix, who did a cover of Papatouai. It would be great if you could do a side-by-side reaction to Papatouai with Stromae and Pentatonix. Especially as you like harmonies, you won't find better harmonies than PTX. And as you see, Stromae is amazing as well.

I think a lot of French songs are very deep lyrically while having upbeat vibes. But some are just more sophisticated lyrically as part of the culture. Lots of meaning. 👏🏻
