Man do you guys remember the first time you played GTA V, when the introduction played and you hear that really cool song and you start seeing the cinematic views of Los Santos. And that feeling you got like, "Holy Shit this looks promising". And then once you finished the game you think, "Wow, what a game". God this game is amazing, with an amazing soundtrack, graphics, gameplay, characters and story.

Has anyone noticed how each one of GTA 5's protagonists resembles one era of the 3D Universe?
Michael - Vice City, the sunglasses, the hair style, the tropical clothes, the love for 80's movies et cetera.
Franklin - San Andreas, the gang culture, 'brotherhood', the 'homie and 'nigga', being at war with the Ballas et cetera.
Trevor - GTA 3, all the craziness you can cause the police and all the mania of the game, blowing up shit and killing people.

I just watched the openings to both San Andreas and GTA IV. It's always interesting to see how much it changes from game to game.
GTA usually centers on a theme that give identity to the game in GTA IV the theme was the american dream, GTA SA facing the past the protagonist ran away from and learning the hard way to not run everytime things get bad, GTA V money and all that surrounds it, betrayals, neglects, thinking is the cure to all the problems in your life etc

This mission is similar to the Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas mission Test Drive, in which CJ and Cesar steal two cars from a car dealership and must escape from the police.
Also, the comments that Lamar makes about Franklin needing a haircut is a homage to the second mission in San Andreas, called Sweet & Kendl in which Ryder tells Carl to get a haircut since it's embarrassing to be seen with him.
A lot of this game missions are based on previous GTA, i remember when i played in 2014 i was always talking about how they are similar

I think not a scratch is actually quite the opposite of what it says. You can hit things as long as it only scratches your car and doesn't cause any actual damage. Any big hit will cause actual damage and then you can't get it though,

Best game intro ever, and I am a GTA IV fan. But the song is fantastic, and the way they mixed it with the action. Wow! I hope Rockstar gets back to doing epic games like this one again, in the future.
What does being a GTA IV fan have to do with liking GTA V? You can like both, this was the strongest opening in any GTA game (prologue and this mission) showing us the backstory of the betrayal, showing that Michael living the "American dream" isn't exactly a "dream" but it's more of a nightmare, and we meet Franklin.

Also GTA V is trying to be as realistic as possible which means some of the things that old GTA games did that may seem like a great edition to GTA V where toned down a little bit to make the game seem more realistic.
