it basically is... i see it as jumping straight to examples before the explanation(critique)... like calling something shit, "this art looks like shit"... you know very well that shit is disgusting, right? and i believe everyone in the world here has used this same exact sentence: that (something) (common noun) like shit
and the second part of your question, it depends... but if i were to be compared to kawacy, doesn't that mean i'm good? which is a good thing? so why should i be annoyed? they didn't say i copied from him, they are literally saying that my work reminds them of kawacy, which is a good artist
to not be happy about that, is egotistical, especially when(imo) kawacy did it better...
Juria Novena I guess regardless of being compared to a good artist or a bad one, it’s still comparison. I’m sure any artist would want to be known for their own style rather than be known for being able to draw like someone else

Saying someone's art is like the others' style is pure disrespectful (especially if it's said in a very rude way/ sarcastic way) I do see a kawacy resemblance here but what if kawacy himself resembled another before his fame? Would you even like/ accept that? Of course no because he gained our respect for long time too, just let this artist enjoy his/her passion of drawing. He/She have skills, they all do. Just saying here

I love the drawing, but I think you depicted Tanya as being far older than she appears in say, the animated series, where she indeed looks like her age as opposed to a grown up ten year old etc. Still it was marvelously done!
