Its a beautiful space and altar and the thing you called a broom is actually known to be part of the Yoruba religion which is very delicate and very sacred. Its somewhat similar to a broom but much more powerful as they cleanse but also signify protection, and at times even a warning. Many orishas use it such as Oya and obatala.
Please be extremely careful and respectful of the ja (broom) as this is actually a sacred tool of one of the African Orishas (Oya). It’s a wonderful tool, and I hope you’ll study whatever you use before you use it. 🙏🖤🧿 Lovely space!
