God that's the coolest thing. Everyone, even all the fan girls, should've been on their feet and clapping for Kansas when they played. Sam Diego and the Supernatural crew and the audience got the chance of a lifetime to have an opening to a panel like this. Crazy.
A Duck Person no kidding, we don't only get Hall H, but one of the greatest rock groups ever to play for us. What do those "Superheroes" get for their fans?

At some point, it was sooo hard to keep faith into the show living long. I remember the time where TVD started airing, and The CW literally dropped Supernatural. It was abandoned in a corner of the channel, doomed and judged "not teenage-y enough" and TVD had all these promotional stuff and it was working so well even tho I was like "??? WHYYYY?" because it was such a tweeny-romancy bs tv show. Getting to five seasons was so hard... and then everything we stopped dreaming happening, happened. And now, SPN has survived TVD despite all the promotion bullshit this show had, Jared and Jensen are carrying their show through the years and they even got KANSAS at SDCC for their panel opening.
And it had an emotional bittersweet ending
I swear if Kansas doesn't make a cameo in the final season of the show to play them off with this song, what even is life? XD

This was the first time Kansas was able to perform for them. First time in 12 years since the show started airing. Up until then they just played the audio on a speaker with a CD or something. This was probably the most successful comic con convention in the history of TV shows.

This is unbelievable. This was 2017, and I didn't find the show until 2020 (Pandemic Binge for me). I fell in love with the show immediately and I've never fan-girled over anything in my life. Watching this was amazing. It was hard not to get swept up and emotional about it. I was a teenager when Leftoverture was released and I know this song well. I've come full-circle.
When I first watched the series (around the time season 12 started airing), I kind of lost hope by seasons 7-10. Season 11 is where it rebounded, and it's great it got back to being strong again for moments like this. Definitely an incredible fanbase, and I always get excited when I meet a supernatural fan because not many seem to know about it who I talk to. This would have been one epic Comic Con to have attended

I was here for this too. It was funny, I made a new friend waiting for Hall H to open (camped out) and told her I wanted them to open the panel with Kansas singing this song, I got my wish. The final panel, the same friend asked me what I thought they were going to do for final, I guessed they'd give away Baby and they did :)
