I am honestly still in disbelief that I was sitting in the front row (Osric waved at me) just in front of FREAKING OSRIC CHAU watching Kansas play live in Hall frickin H. Unreal.
I love this opening so much! I so wish I was there! They actually filmed "Sam" and "Dean" going to Comic Con, got Kansas to perform "Carry On My Wayward Son" and got to use the side screens (that were apparently used only for the movie panels), and it all looked so awesome together! The constant talk about The End (which is understandable going into season 13) and this - this beauty of an opening - has got me emotion... thank you Osric
I cried like a baby when I saw that. I'm so proud of my beloved show! It's like Warner Bros. and The CW finally gave Supernatural the treatment the show deserves. I can only imagine how Jensen, Jared and all cast and crew must have felt at that moment. Thanks for sharing, Osric! Love you!

These guys have been playing this song a million times, and to see the smiles on the band members faces, because of the reaction of YOU all has to be so gratifying to them. Wow - the energy in the room. What a great experience: the live music; the 270* screens; the phenomenally edited montage and the excitement. So many layers. It is even more impactful that cast members were there and among those enabling others to share the experience. Thank you Osric!

Even if I may never be able to see the cast live or be at such an epic panel/convention because I live in Germany, I still love to see videos like this and see the cast interact with the fans. Yeah, I’m only like 4/5 months in this fandom (but watching season 13), but that doesn’t matter bc I think everyone is welcome whenever they start and that you’re not a „better“ fan bc you know the show longer. I’m just proud to be a part of this fandom, bc I think were really like a family. It’s amazing what „just“ a tv show can do with people and that it can form these amazing friendships like Jared and Jensen or Rob and Rich. I just love our fandom so much. ❤️

I would have sold my soul to Crowley to be there in person for that. One question.....did the people standing around you realize just WHO was in their midst??? That it was one of the people who are actually PART of this magic that we call Supernatural???. You're awesome!
I'm glad I was there to watch this in person. The friend I made waiting in line asked me what I wanted to see, I told her I just wanted them to open the panel with Carry On My Wayward son, little did I know they'd have the band there. The same friend wanted to know what I wanted to see they'd do for the last panel, I said "I don't know, give away Baby?" They gave away a restored replica. These panels were always the best, Misha Collins always came to greet the fans before the panel, bringing cookies, coffee, donuts, etc, sometimes bringing former cast members.
Never saw Supernatural, but it warms my heart to see a younger generation introduced to Kansas! Hopefully they will be inspired to explore their full catalog of music and appreciate how influential Kansas has been for 50 years.
