Hi there. I'm Michael with etrailer.com Today we're gonna take a quick look at this NOCO Boost Max 5,250 amp jumpstarter. Now this is a portable lithium ion jumpstarter that's gonna revive your dead 12-volt lead acid vehicle and equipment batteries. Now this will work with your wet cell, your gel cell your maintenance free, enhanced flooded, and AGM batteries, so it is gonna be perfect for your trucks, semis, RVs, buses and construction equipment with up to a 16-liter engine, whether it's gas or diesel. This does have a powerful 242 watt hour lithium ion battery that's gonna provide multiple jumpstarts off of a single charge. It's got a starting current of about 5,250 amps.
It is going to be fully recharged in about eight and a half hours. So you can either the DC power source or an AC power source. This will hold its charge for over a year with minimal power loss, so it is gonna hold up really well for you. They do include several accessories, ways to get plugged into your wall. So you've got your US type plug, you've got your European type plug, your UK plug and your Australian plug.
So whether you're traveling or if you're in a different country for a while, this will do a great job of giving you those options to get charged up, so you can make sure that your battery is going to be charged when you need it. So this is going to have these heavy duty battery clamps that will provide a spark proof connection onto your battery posts. These are reverse polarity protected, so you won't have to worry about that. Our overall length of these is right about three feet. So our max span is gonna be about six and a half feet.
So if your posts are really far apart, you should have up to about six and a half feet reach to get to them. We do also have the rechargeable work light on the side here. So that's going to allow us to have a bright light, slightly dimmer light, or an even dimmer light. We also have our SOS signal or if I work through that rotation again, you can see we've got a constant strobe and an alternating strobe there. So if we're in an emergency situation we could get attention from others.
This is gonna be very simple to use. We've got LED lights here with the indicators so we can see what our battery is doing. We've got a digital volt meter that's going to display our batteries voltage to help determine if the battery is discharged. We do have a manual override button here, that's going to allow us to jump a battery with a charge below two volts. So very convenient usage. Then on this other side, we're gonna have our charging port end, whether the AC or DC. And then this other port is going to give us two of these 2.1 amp USB ports, so we can charge smartphones, tablets, headphones or portable speakers. And then we're also going to have that 12-volt plug that's gonna power accessories, like your tire inflater, power inverter, fan cooler, or coffee maker. This does have a nice compact, lightweight design, so it is gonna be easy to transport and store away. Looking at our overall dimensions, we're right at 12 and three quarters of an inch long by eight and three quarters of an inch wide from the outside cable port to the outside cable connector there. And then about three and three quarters of an inch thick. Normally, it weighs just slightly under 15 pounds, about 14.7 pounds, so it is gonna be very convenient to store in your cargo area or toolbox. It has an IP65 rating, so it will hold up well for you when you have those ports closed. And that works in temperatures ranging from negative four degrees all the way up to 122 degrees Fahrenheit. But then they also include this protective storage case here. It's got hook and loop closure on the side and then zipper closure here on the top. Our main opening here has a molded tray that this will fit nice and snug into so that we don't have to worry about it sliding around too much. We've also got a side tray here so we can keep some of our other cables and cords organized. So like I said, that does zip. We also have a buckle and hook and loop closure so we can access that at the top, like so. And then we have that hook and loop closure on the side here, so we can open that up and use our light if we want so that we can easily see our work site, get connected, get our cables connected and that sort of thing. Closing this back up again. Then on the underside, we have another zipper compartment that's got kind of like a velvety side to
