- In this video, I tour a gorgeous self-built ProMaster with a unique and ingenious folding table design! This van features a fixed platform bed, a great kitchen with a two-burner propane stove, a composting toilet, a folding toolbox on slides, and a dinette to guest bed conversion Caroline invented.

You mention that you work with polymer clay. How do you bake it while living in a van?
Wonderful van set up. She did good and so did her helpers. Glad that they also showed her how to fix things if needed. Very comfortable van.
Best van build I have ever seen. Just lovely. And I love that you have room for tools. I am a handywoman and I'd love a van like this to go on the road and get work as I go.

Thank you for taking the time to create these van tours. I have two different vehicles I travel part time in. One is a minivan and the other is a 1995 class b camper van from Pleasure Ways. My late husband and I purchased the class b over a year ago because he needed to be able to stand up and in the minivan he was never comfortable. After he passed late last year I considered getting rid of the class b, because the minivan was great for camping out of and gets really good gas mileage. Both the minivan and the class b have less than 60K miles on them so I decided I would keep them and get rid of the higher mileage Jeep Jeep Patriot, because it has been less dependable and has cost use a lot in maintenance of the suspension. I am now updating the class b, to live in and travel during the winter. I am renting out the upstairs master bedroom in my home base so I don't even have to pay someone to live there when I am traveling. Your van tours all highlight unique systems that I can use in both vehicles. I really like the window shade by the table in this one. I also love her open shelves. Thank you again for creating these videos.

As watching the video, I wondered about the weight. Did she need to beef-up the suspension?
I didn't, no. I did a rough calculation of the weight of the wood early in the process and it turned out it was barely more than the weight of a burly passenger, so I opted not to stress about it 😂. And it turns out I'm still safely under the GVWR fully loaded.
