At the controls of a well drilling rig

Not everyday that you get to run a well drilling rig, and not many would do as well as the person that is at the controls of this trailer rig. Great job on a 50 meter well in Mexico!

I fabricated this drilling rig from my own design. You can find swivels, tool joints, etc at North Houston Machine - they have a catalog on line. Cost would be according to what you need. There are other suppliers to be found on the internet. Thanks for your interest.

Hi thank you for your reply. I have another tech question, what # welding rod do you use to weld the couplings to the drill pipe.I have a problem with the welds braking loose and i'm losing pipe down the hole ( 3 times ) GRACIAS

Hey Oscar I want to reply here to your question although I may have answered it in my email. You have too much drill pipe wobble and it is like when you take a wire and twist it back and forth over and over its going to break. If you can't get heavier pipe you'll need to figure a way to get the pipe to stay straight. If you are still struggling with this email me and I'll give you a couple of suggestions.
