In a united India this place would have had the status of holiest of holy places and the economic conditions of the area would have improved substantially.
Sad to see it forlorn and sort of abandoned for better part of the year.
Thanks for bringing this to our screens sir.

Excellent narration as always. Pretty surprising that crocs still have not been hunted down and specimen's remain similar to the Nara Canal which flows from Rohri, sightings of crocs and sometimes taking away of goats is reported.

Hindlaj Mata's mandir is one of our Shakti Peethas, where a body part of Devi Sati fell when Lord Shiva roamed the universe with the half burnt body of Devi Sati and to end his grief and anger, Lord Vishnu used his Sudarshan Chakra to cut the body into many pieces. Her head is said to have fallen on Hinglaj.

Here is an idea. You should revisit these places to make footage and present it with your expert commentary. Make small documentaries. Channel deserves more views, in my opinion.

The Nani was not a hindu mandir it was zikri Yatra. At the first lower step a goat used to be sacrificed when some one would come and pay it's homage. There were never any moorties there. Hindus took over in the 90s and this became a mandir.
