- Ballet flats are officially a trend for the upcoming fall season (according to TikTok at least!)
I think we're all a little scarred from the smelly ballet flats of the mid 00s - early 2010s 😷 but don't worry - they are back in a much more elevated (and hopefully less stinky) way.
Love 'em or hate 'em, they have an interesting history, which we will delve into in this video.
I'll also share the types of ballet flats that are currently on trend and how people are styling them in 2023. I even had a go at styling some ballet flat outfits myself! Hope you enjoy xx

Love the video as usual😊 As someone who never stopped wearing ballet flats, I'm very happy they're back in fashion. Not because I want to be on trend (ok sometimes I do), but during the last 4-5 years it was getting harder and harder to find pretty flats😅

Most of the time I really don't care if I'm "on trend" either, but on this one I have a bit of a superiority complex.... we've been wearing flats for years darlinggggg people are just copying us! 😂 I'm seeing so many pretty flats now so it's working in our favour lol

Lots of people call that 'flat pumps', I think 'flat pumps' and 'ballet flats' are the same thing.
Personally, I think ballet flats are better than heels, because the feet feel much more comfortable than heels, and ballet flats also look lovely and beautiful.
I noticed lots young European royal members wear ballet flats, such as Spain.

I need to cut my addiction to skinny jeans - its frustrating! I've always loved ballet flats though, as long as they have a proper sole. The cheap and therefore dirty and smelly ballet flats are gross! 😂
