These are great starter RCs but they do require some modification. Tail rotor was made too small for this heli. there are some easy mods that require very little to do, also they seem to lose contact easily and come crashing down. Other than the mentioned issues it is a well worth it heli to purchase.
S33 Is better since it's a 2.4 ghz.
Now I recommend quadcopters/drones over these RC helis because these are nearly impossible to control.

It's fun but I'm having problems right now... When I charge it it won't take off the propeller will spin for 1/2 a second and stop. I don't know what to do.
Check the balance bar to make sure it's not damaged. How long have you had it?

I have one of these but I am experiencing serious speed issues , it can't even fight against the wind? Is that normal or am I expecting too much?
Utube_Assassin I'm pretty sure the manual states to fly it when there is very little to no wind. Try it on a no breeze day and you will see a difference. I'm going to review the Syma X12 Nano Quad this weekend so make sure to check that out!
Hey friend. if you want to combat the wind you need modify the tail rotor. what I did is cut some spare copter blades (to a length just longer than the stock tail blade) and glue the non leading edge of the cut blades to the stock tail blade with a strong adhesive best to use high strength expo. then all you need to do is grind down the top of the tail find to give the blades clearance

RC helis are very difficult to control because it's hard to see which way if facing front

True but I wanted to review it that day. RC helicopters are difficult to fly when compared to drones/quadcopters.
I have two, one works OK the other is a pain to even get of the ground. Others I've spoke to say the same thing. There appears to be no consistancy, one works the other doesn't. Basically a rubbish toy. but ya get what ya pay for I suppose.
Drones are much easier to fly than helis
