Old & New Castlebar Town

Some time ago, an elderly man came to me in the tourist office. His people were from Castlebar and he visited here, years ago, when he was on holidays. He talked about the town. He talked about the people he knew when he came. Many had died. Their children and grand children were still there. The personalities had changed but the town had not. That got me thinking. I reflected. I put this together. I stole some photos but most are mine. The town, the town I love so well, if it could talk, could tell some stories. Have fun.
