I think you are doing it right by being easy going, casual, honest, without going over the top like most vloggers trying to entertain their crowd (i hate it). I'm from Belgrade so that's how i got into your channel, but i will definitely check your previous videos because i really enjoy your style, of course i subscribed. I also like that you stay in the same area for a longer period, you can't really show or experience true Belgrade or Zagreb in one day. Also those ending part with city scenes are a really nice touch.
I like you both, because you seem to me good, honest and decent people, and because of politics we in Serbia almost forgot are the vast majority in the West as in the rest of the world, but also cat lovers, smart, curious, creative and good looking which is less common. Except that is for me always interesting to see my city and country through the eyes of foreigners I hardly can come up with any suggestion for you regarding your content, you're just doing fine, in fact excellent and I like you hanging around, so just keep that way.

You asked what's good in your videos. What I like is that you are reading /saying Serbian words pretty correct. You are paying attention to it, so like showing some respect. You are better than other foreigner you tubers in that. And I like your enthusiasm you bring into the videos. You are spreading good mood and smiling all the time. That matters. Just keep rocking! :)
Is Serbian similar to any other languages? Or any special tricks to use with Serbian words? Like in Spanish and German all letters are pronounced but in English we have silent letters 😆 I love languages...but Serbian looks very tricky😬 Out of my comfort level 🤣 But very beautiful sounding.
Serbian is almost identical to Croatian, Bosnian, Montenegrian. It use to be one language: Serbo-Croatian, while Yugoslavia existed. Slovenian and Macedonian are also similar. And it's easy to read Serbian - every letter is always one, same voice. No silent letters and stuff.
@@golubovicm Slovenian and Macedonian are not similar but I think they are a bit more closer to Serbian than Russian or Czech are. In fact all the Slavic languages are similar. lol
Wow, what an interesting choice to go for American-style burgers in Belgrade! I have to say, most of the burger joints are hipster-like. Serbia is renowned for its incredible meat dishes and grill festivals, like the ones in Leskovac and Nis, which are a meat lover's paradise. It's so ironic yet understandable, given the variety of options available. Americans who compared food in USA to the one in Europe are generally surprised at the quality. One of the key points of traveling abroad is experiencing local food, and Serbia offers some of the best meat dishes you'll ever taste. Especially grilled food. Entire Balkan can fight about things, but general consensus is that parties and grill are best in Serbia. Many foreigners are pleasantly surprised by the high quality and affordability of meat here, even with the current inflation. It's such a treat to indulge in tender, flavorful meat that won't break the bank. Nostalgia for American-style burgers is understandable, but at the same time, it's a bit ironic when you're in a country known for its amazing meat dishes. Objectively speaking, you owe it to yourself to let loose a bit and try something new! Serbia is one of those places where freedom is guaranteed, even in culinary exploration. If you're looking for some guidelines, feel free to ask! Everyone would be more than happy to help you make a list of places to visit and try out some authentic Serbian cuisine. Next time you're in Serbia, you should travel to the city of Niš, Leskovac, Prokuplje too. I highly recommend trying some local delicacies, and making new friends. It gets very easy to get invited to a wedding, too! The rich culinary tradition here is truly something else, and you might just discover a new favorite dish! Enjoy your travels and culinary adventures!
Intergalactic used to be the #1 burger spot in Belgrade... In the last 5 years they fell off - there are WAY better spots now! You should check out: • SMASH - Takovska 50 • SMEŠ SMASH - Skenderbegova 53b • FAT BOYS - Strahinjića Bana 3 • HASLERS - Ustanička 170e • GORILLA BURGER BAR - Bulevar kralja Aleksandra 43
there is a bigger diner in hotel jugoslavija in novi beograd, and there you have mechanical jukeboxes, not that touch screen rubbish :D next to it was a place with american pancakes, not sure its still there
We will eat plazma and milk soon, we have to buy some more plazma first!! Thanks for the recommendation, and of course we will pet Gizmo for you, haha!
Thanks guys! Belgrade is so gorgeous, I love seeing the videos. Did you need to get a new SIM card while living there? My friend that lived in Bulgaria told me I may need to change my SIM card in my phone while in Serbia??? I am only going for 2 weeks...🤔 also do they have Google Pay? or mostly just Visa/Mastercard?? thanks : )
Thanks for watching! 🥰 Yes, you’ll have to get either a new sim card or an e-sim! We use an e-sim from the company Airalo, we got a pretty good deal and it was super easy to install on our phones. Also, google pay should work most places, we’re usually able to tap our cards with no problem :) so exciting that you’ll be visiting! You will definitely have a great time
@@GizmoAndCompany Thanks guys...I just looked it up...that's very helpful...I will set one up before I leave...looks pretty easy. The St Sava church is the main thing I want to see...I have never been to an Orthodox church before...it looks so gorgeous. : )
