Coming from snowboarding, the pole plant is the hardest part for me. This will help for sure.

In steeper, particularly firm moguls, I find myself using my "unplated hand" to do kind of a balace check pole plant. I am trying to work away from that by driving that hand forward more and keeping my upper body over my feet ss the skis slide down the icy backsides. The commitment is difficult in tough conditions, but that's what I like about Telemarking.

The double pole plant is actually a good way to get your upper body in the right position at the end of the turn. But it’s a slow movement that will not allow to increase the speed of the turns. So in certain situations, like steep hard moguls, you will not find the flow at each turn but rather almost make a stop. Practice the inside hand movement in easy terrain first. Hope this helps.

Thanks, yeah I've got it down in the easier or soft bumps, but always trying to step it up a notch on the steeps. Here in California we have lots of steeps and plenty of hard snow. Don't see many good Telebump skiers.
