Good day on he water!! 48.5 lbs of fish. Reminds me of the time my cousin and I drained an old pond and dipped out over 150 catfish. Took them to an old man who worked on my uncle's farm and told him we had "caught a mess" of catfish and he could have half if he would clean them all for us. He said sure and then almost died when he looked in back of pickup. 🤣He was a man of his word and cleaned them all.

Good Morning Cajun Family (Lydia, Ladly and Jim) 😊💖 Happy Tuesday!!
Wow, what a beautiful video in the the back waters of Louisiana. Thank goodness for all rain recently helped y'all with the fishing. Jim , I say the water level looked about almost 12 feet up looking at the deer stand.
Jim, Lydia one of the fish looked like a buffalo fish, (mouth small & facing down and many bones) 😀
Lydia you looked like you was having alot fun. 😃👍👍 with Jim.
I would be guessing y'all caught in catfish total weight 39.6 lbs .
Always good times being out on the water!!
May y'all have a wonderful beautiful week ahead. It be feeling good out there!! Enjoy 🌟👸Lydia &🌟 🤴 Jim👏👏👏 🤟 Y'all

Good Morning and good luck Lydia and Jim, I hope y’all mop up today! I think, 47.5lbs of fish would be a good guess! Yall be careful out there, yeah the water can be a little cold in the morning! lol 🤣😂🤣 Lydia, the cold part of being on the water is riding in the front of a boat heading to the duck blind, that’s what I thought was the coldest I’ve ever been! lol 😂 I froze my butt off that morning! Good luck guys and be safe!

Now that's how I like to fish . Watching someone else.😊
I like going fishing, but i don't have the patience to wait for a fish to get caught on the hook.
I'll bait hooks, run errands etc. I like the comadre.
I think I would like the net fishing .
Glad you caught more than before.
I always get a laugh watching Lydia at the front of the boat.
I think you're weight is going to be more than both of you mentioned.
Anxious to see what it was.

I'll tell ya'll what I think of your motor. If it gets you on the water and you have a great day, it's an awesome motor and a lot more than a whole lot of other fishermen have. Also, when keeping the cats keep some nips handy to trim off the fin points. Keeps things safe.

I'm surprised the catfish didn't eat the perch. One time at a stock tank in Texas I caught a small frog and placed it on a hook to catch a Blue. Well, I went dove hunting and forgot about the rod until the next day. I caught my Blue because a perch had eaten the frog, and the perch was then eaten by the large Blue!

We didn't get a real good view into that bucket and see the end results - looked like a good mess of cat though, make a nice fry with some good slaw, corn cob, hush puppies a proper kettle of beans and a bushel of okra ... nice cold cherry coke to wash it down in a cup of crushed ice ...reminds me of the days back in the 60's when I was a kid and we'd have scouts fish fry fund raising events back on the playground area in the school yard ... dang - thanks for a nice memory recall ... I guess around Lydia's, about 53-54 pounds whole

White Bass or Crappie are better eating than catfish. Flatheads are good and small Channel Cats of 1 1/2 - 2 lbs are good as well. In general, all the "Pan Fish" are better eating than any catfish. I would catch a mess usually th limit of White Bass under a "still house light" at night in Cental Texas lakes. Lake Buchanon, delicious.
